"Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder"- an interactive slide presentation to inspire the audience to celebrate their love of Fashion and Design but liberate themselves from the unrealistic expectations of the Fashion Media.
Born and raised in Red Lake, a remote gold mining town in Northwestern Ontario, seems an unlikely beginning to the story of a fashion designer, who in her career has reached the pinnacle of success for her innovative approach to creating clothing for Authentic Women. With a resourcefulness and common sense approach to both Fashion and business Linda Lundström has been a creative force in Canada for over 3 decades. With the heart and soul of an artist, creating more than 100 collections, Lundström is respected for her originality and determination to produce her designs in Canada. Building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Toronto, she is a leader in embracing CAD/CAM technologies and Lean Manufacturing processes necessary to compete internationally. Today, Lundstrom shares business and life lessons with audiences and clients. After selling her company and brand in 2008, Lundstrom has also returned to designing with the 'L' collection which she presents at consumer shows and PopUpShops. Lundstrom is an advocate for First Nations, motivating her to create the Kiishik Fund, which creates awareness and respect for Native culture and traditions. This fund receives a portion of all honoraria received from speaking engagements to support educational programs in the Red Lake District.

I see the point she's trying to make and I appreciate it, but her opening point about nature not judging each other doesn't seem to work. A lily wouldn't judge, but then again a lily wouldn't be able to do any thinking. Other animals certainly judge each other when it comes to mating. Only the most beautiful peacock can mate and leave offspring. It's to the point that some crabs have claws so big it actually hinders their survival. Vegetables and flowers being sold in stores need to look flawless or else they get thrown away. A lot of food is wasted because of it. Perfectly good food (that might have an odd shape) is trashed. I like her message, but that whole part could easily be cut out and her talk could have a stronger focus on photoshop and marketing.

What a beautiful video. One of my favorites. If everyone saw each other similar to how the Beholder sees us, what a more beautiful, peaceful, and lovely world we would live in!

Yes we do judge petals and nature. Try selling a flowers that are diseased to people. This lady is old and losing her looks and likely wasn't very attractive even in her younger days.
