It’s hard to beat the idyllic location of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey on the southern edge of Monterey Bay on California’s Central Coast. The downtown Monterey campus is just a few blocks from the ocean, Fisherman’s Wharf and the much-loved Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail, where walkers, joggers, and bicyclists enjoy sweeping views of the bay from Castroville to Pacific Grove.
