People keep asking where it is: 0:05 Werfenweng / Bischling main launch. Looking towards the Tennengebirge 0:14 Sella, val di Fassa 1:10 Zwoelferhorn, St Gilgen looking NW towards Salzburg 1:39 back in val di Fassa 2:01 Zwoelferhorn again looking towards Schafberg / Wolfgangsee .. the opening shot of the Sound of Music :) 2:13 Bischling again .. looking East over launch and back up the Enns 2:27 val di Fassa 3:04 not 100% on this but I think it's over the Tennengebirge looking towards Dachstein 3:09 over Bischling launch looking towards the Tennengebirge again 3:22 val di fassa 3:27 Bischling and final shot val di Fassa Unbelievably lucky to call this place home
remember that VFR rules ask to be 300m under or at side of clouds... you can do it on your own i don't mind.. i don't care. it happened to me as well. Nevertheless when you publish stuff on line note that there will always be the half cooked one that will repeat the gesture just because he saw it ... and might enter into trouble. but ey you're over 18.. enjoy Trentino...
King of random is still a channel, though I’m really sad about how grant passed, it’s unreasonable to also say goodbye to his (still operating) channel. Edit: if you are talking about how he is the king of random then sorry for making you read that.
He was person who started the channel “The King of Random.” His channel basically consisted of cool D.I.Y. hacks and ideas. His friends and coworkers now run his channel. Now it’s more based on experiments. He passed due to a paragliding accident.
@@sajithnair2753 - I’m assuming it was because he paraglided (if that’s even a word) in the wrong type of weather, and the odds of this happening are very low.
I remember the moment when I wasn't flying still and saw this video... A few years later I am so grateful to fly around the world and share the moments 🙏 Chase your dreams #yolo
Some of the scenery in this one is unbelievable. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GVC_DibiXLg.html And another one just for fun. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Sv3xVOs7_No.html
Gorgeous video. I saw it many times, and after some time see it again and feel a great pleasure! Music and picture is perfect! This is absolutely my favorite video about paragliding. Thank you a lot!
Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the comments but where was this filmed? It's extraordinary scenery. I could only imagine how much more beautiful it would be in the winter!
Wait. I thought this was the same video that was supposedly POV footage and the pilot was in front of a green-screen /blue-screen to simulate the angle. This was actually shot with a chase cam & gimbal?! WOW!! Astounding quality. I guess it must've been a skeptical commenter that said "green-screen." Holy buckets, I gotta watch this again. Whole new appreciation. :)
You will get the best experience of paragliding in the mountains of Hindukush. Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A8SaoeCAbIU.html
@@absolutenutter1007 This is absolutely nuts. It is a good thing that you need to do a license for it in most countries because this sport needs some practice.
Super! I want to fly high, and this makes me want to travel the world and fly. So far I am in North (and South) America. In South America I have been to Colombia and next month Iquique, Chile. What I see in the Alps makes me want to fly there, and in Asia!!!
A few years ago, I was in a dark place. I googled «how do I fly » and read the word « paragliding ». I didn’t know what it is and I had never seen a wing in my life before that. I started searching « paragliding » and stumbled upon your video. I used to watch it everyday to get out of my dark place. I am now a licensed paraglider. Thank you.❤
@@easygliderful that would be an honor. Although I’ll probably slow you down since you are way more advanced than I am. My next flying will probably be in Turkey next for my SIV course.
It must be amazing experience to do paragliding! I wish i can do it someday. But please be careful when you take video while paragliding. I think it will be less concentrate when you take video while paragliding. Thanks for upload this video. I hope to see another video soon.
This is so awesome :)) I want to start flying, but can anyone give me some tips? - What glider is good to buy for a beginner OR how to start? - Where are good flying spots in europa, especially in Austria, Italy and Switzerland? - How long does it take to fly like the main guy in this video? Would be thankful to get any information :)
Its actually pretty easy to learn it. For sure I would recommend you to join a school for learning it. They will tell you all about the equipment. If you don't have that much of money they often make you a very good offer for a second hand glider! In Switzerland you have to make a theory exam and after that you must have at least 50 flights under supervision of a teacher and then you can go for the practical exam. if you pass that you are officially allowed to fly. There are thousands of beautiful places to fly in the alps. If you join a school they mostly offer flying holidays. There you have the chance to travel to the most famous ones like Dune de Pyla in France, The Dolomites in Italy or the main valley in Wallis Switzerland. Its very hard to tell you how long it will take you to fly like the main guy in this video. For sure you are going to be able to glide like him on your very first flight. The difficult thing is just to get to the spots where he is. If you take a closer look he is a lot of times under the cloudbase. That means he had to take thermals to go up there. But to be able to fly in thermals and actually just to find them is something that needs a lot of experience. It depends on the weather conditions. on the direction the mountain faces (S, E, W, N), on the humidity of the air and in the end on your skills to read the terrain and your ability to spot thermals. If you want to have the joy of flying thermals even if you are a beginner go to Organya in Spain. Its also called the Magic Mountain. It's special location in the valley and the fact it faces south generates extremely good conditions to fly thermals. Its also known as the eldorado for acro paragliders. I hope I gave you the informations you asked for. If you have the opportunity go and learn to fly. It's a feeling that I cant explain you just need to feel it! Have fund and stay safe!
Beautiful video. Paragliding is a beautiful sport that I love. It is as safe as you make it. I always think twice before flying and sometimes I just go back home instead of flying but sometimes the urge to fly is too strong and you can risk your life. You make the decision not anyone else. Safe flight.
The gliding must be so much quieter than paramotoring! The advantage to paragliding with a motor on your back is just that bit more control and distance available. I'm not sure the extra noise is worth it, but many people do. I do notice when doing searches for paragliding, paramotoring site, like parajet.com keep coming up. I am surpised that Google and RU-vid can't tell the difference.
