She earned my sub off that ALONE, even though there are MANY reasons I like her. Her editing is ON POINT. I NEVER get bored or feel the NEED to skip through
To be honest, although I love the work this stylist does. It’s the personality of the stylist that keeps me watching. She seems like such a grounded and genuine person. I get a good feeling from her, I appreciate her kind manner and the way she talks to us. She doesn’t let ego over shadow her talent and humility. Thank you!!
When my parents were still married my dad said to her “if you cut your hair I’m going to divorce you.” They have been divorced for 15 years and she can wear her hair however the hell she wants without being told what to do😁
So true. I can get any color in my hair as long as it's not bright nd vibrant... My manager gets annoyed sometimes but idc cuz all my customers nd co workers love it lol. I'm always goin for new shytt 😊
My edges are like this as well and I get SO TIRED of people telling me my edges are gone because I'm pulling on them. They've been like this my whole life. It is hereditary to the point by babies even have thin edges and so does my mom and grandma. Please stop putting people down because their hair doesn't meet your standards. On a more positive note her hair looks gorgeous. Love the colors
@@LifeisaBeautifulting Yup! I was stressed about my edges until I saw my baby pictures. Never had them, never will. Just doing the best with what I have.
@@Ay-B i have the same thing but with my curl pattern. im half black and most of my hair is 3c with 4a on my crown. But the nape of my neck is like 2a, maybe even 1c. I get so many comments about having heat damage when i have only blowdried my hair one time since going natural. And if that patch is damaged then why it look so shiny and soft root to tip fam?? its like just accept people hair be different
Im literally the same way and even my own mom be clowning my edges 🙄 lol but anyway i love my little bit of edges 🤍 thats all u can do is appreciate what u have
@@LAUTTOCEO ladies we can choose to watch or not watch I plead with you don't let anyone make you come down to their level make them come up to your intelligent level it's been 4 long months ago so baby close the door, the book And say End of Story💕
I’m from Scotland and I’m a newly qualified hair stylist (in Caucasian hair) and I’ve watched every video of yours and I am absolutely desperate to learn how to do kinky/curly/African hair, I had box braids done at a local salon of mine and I’m gonna apply to a few salons who specialise in that kind of hair to learn everything I need to know and I can’t wait! Love your videos and you how honest you are with what you’re doing. I’ve already ordered so many of your products at deeperthanhair’s website and can’t wait to learn more about hair in general. You are so inspirational to me because although I am Caucasian I am so keen to learn about all hair types and I’m really hoping someone gives me that chance. Edit: I’m also male haha just so you know 2nd edit: stop telling me it’s cultural appropriation that I had braids
Color your hair any way you want, and then wear a head-covering of some sort at work. Someone will eventually get the hint. They pay you to work. They don't pay you to be someone you are not.
Who else hates when they see comments that say ,’’ I’m white and have straight hair but I still watched this video’’ tbh you guys say it like your not allowed to watch this video, it’s not made for black people only it’s made for everyone to watch and enjoy so stop using that sentence!! (This ain’t hate btw)💗
Sophia Vergado Not a lot of white people appreciate African American hair or take the time to educate themselves on it, so it can be refreshing (for some) to see that some enjoy learning about other cultures.
Sophia Vergado I think thy do think they aren’t allowed. Meanwhile black women had to assimilate to watching countless commercials, articles dedicated to white hair as the norm. We can all appreciate each other without it being a “race” thing
I’m a white woman with pretty average straight hair, but I’m binge watching your videos. They’re like ASMR, and you’re so good at what you do. I want you to trim & style my hair.
I’m sorry, this is still hilarious after 4 months. I guess the irrelevant mentioning of race with “average” straight hair set Ite off. Who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Calm down lol - The hair stylist might care that she’s white if she typically does black hair and the commenter said she wanted to get her hair done smh
Love love love this color blocking! Excellent job! And is it just me, or is it so satisfying watching you cut the ends? 😊 Her hair turned out beautiful! 💕
Too cute...too fun. I would surely play with color but only the temporary color. Bought that hair dryer thru your link from another video .Absolutely love it. You have taught me so much, I really appreciate you and your videos❤
Daphne Smith this woman has skills! I think it's important too to be shown how to properly apply home colour as well. She's doing woman globally a big favour!
I wouldn't have thought of doing these color combos but they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL together. Very jewel-toned and it looks great with her natural dark color. I think it turned out fantastic and really suits her.
I love color. I used to color my hair all the time when I had a pixie cut. I finished cosmetology school last year and still haven’t taken my test. I’ve been studying lately so I think I’m gonna schedule it for June or July. But anyways, I can’t wait to become licensed 🎉🎉🎉
Love how she keeps it real. If you arent taking care of your hair she will let you (and the viewers) know! She also seems realistic in what your hair can and cant do. Love her!
You are ENERGY. I love your honesty. Family or not tellll them! And the fact you let people know affordable products... you a real one. I’m so glad I came across your channel. It’s only been two days! 🤭
No fair I neglect my hair and it shows. She has really nice hair and I would rock these colors and this style. But how my hair damage is set up...my hair is like Randy Jackson "it's a no dawg". This is really nice tho. Also have heat phobia it gives me anxiety to have the flat iron tool around the edges I guess I was burnt one too many times 😂 but good job!
A big part is genetics,my sister has thick coarse hair,I inherited my mom's fine super delicate hair that's prone to thinning, even if my sister isn't drinking enough water, exercise or neglected a bit which she never neglects its naturally strong like the ladies on the video and fast growing.
My gf's hair is crazy thick- I thought my hair was thick, but hers is just wild. If I didn't admire it so much I'd be a little jealous. It's also naturally multicolored. I find random blonde, orange, and burgundy strands all the time, and apparently her mom has that too. Shes black btw- no mix. I told her not to be surprised if one of her descendants end up with a full head of blonde or burgundy hair.
@@BBaaaaa For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16😁
Love her hair! Gorgeous colors and love to watch you work! With so much love and care for the hair and whoever is in your chair, family, friend, client, you love them all. 💖
I'm naturally more conservative, so I wouldn't wear color like that. But, I love to see people's individuality shine through. Her hair is healthy, clean and beautiful. So, it doesn't look tacky.
That is so beautiful, I love those colors together, I'd wear it. My hair is grey and mostly white in the front and right now it has a purplish tint from the shampoo and I like it. You do such great work, I'd like to see more color work like this...
I wear fashion colors often so I would love it. Luckily I work in a pretty chill office so no one blinks an eye when I come in with purple or blue hair.
I haven’t been following you for long and already love watching you do hair! You’re so encouraging and motivating. I’ve often done my family/ friends hair on the side but recently I’m so inspired and eager to get my cosmetology license. Thank you for sharing your passion with others. 😅❤
I’ve recently binge-watched these kind of videos. It makes me wanna learn how to take care of (Afro textured) hair and just open my own salon. Anyone else? 🤣🌝
Her hair looks lovely. My hair is curly. Whenever I blow dry I always just get waves. I do not know how to flat iron my hair. I would love a straighter versus a wavy look. Her hair is gorgeous with the colors. I love how straight it is.
7:45 - 7:50 say that again sis!! Dont let anybody dictate how you should wear your hair, be yourself. I learned this about myself this year. I love my natural hair and I was blessed with a good grade (if that makes sense) it is really tightly curled and soft and I think it is a good grade but I was getting so caught up in the natural hair "movement" about not pressing your hair and lada lada la...you must do twist outs, weat protective styles you know the whole spill and that is just not my thing. I do not like weaves or wigs on me. I like my hair pressed and wear it pressed now 95% of the time. I protect it and keep it moisturized and we see each other still (me and the curls) and they are cool. Dear some of y'all in the natural hair movement: To each its own. It is not a cult you know, to have natural hair in all. There are no rules you MUST follow. Take care of your hair is the standard pretty much everyone wants . All will be well and we silk pressers are not confused or abandoning our hair texture. Ok? 🤗💪❤📝
facts nowadays I don't follow anything on RU-vid, like when I first started I was mixed up in the oh you must do natural homemade remedies yadayada and only cowash, no shampoo, do this do that, cut everytime, I just do what I wanna do whenever
So love this! And to be honest fros, super big curls or locs don't flatter everybody and certain style's can actually be damaging and likewise others work depending on texture's and scalp needs. They do that mess in the 360 wave community to,i'll take my Murray's and what works for me loll.
This color blend is awesome. It’s just what my teen has been asking me to do but I didn’t know how. I haven’t been doing anything to my hair because I was a mom. But my teen wants all the stuff done to her hair that I used to do. So I’m literally relearning. There are so many new techniques and products. So I really appreciate these videos. You are awesome. I know that word is overused, but it really applies to you. New subbie!
First off, I LOVE the color on her. I think it’s bold without being over the top. Would I wear it? No. I’m an all jet black kind of girl. That’s just me tho. 💁🏿♀️
My hair is completely straight and won’t even hold curls with in iron or curlers, so to hear she doesn’t wear her hair curly killed me, her curls are amazing 😭
I love watching this stylist. I wonder if she does beauty tours and books clients/shows? I love how she cuts but the clients style always seem to have length to the style. I love how she explains the process with a joke in their too!! Glad I found her channel. Thanks for sharing sis!
Lovin it!! I change my hair color so much chiiiild, that one of the elders in the church where I grew up still calls me kool aid!!! Imaaagine nat?! Lol!! Job well done as always!! I wish u were here in Chicago.
