@@AndalusianPhilosopher ?whats sad that happened to who? Beavis and butthead or mill vanilli... they were scamming the public with music they didn't sing and in concert their song skipped thats not sad its karma coming their way they deserved it
@@john_mckinney i think commenting on a seven year old comment with a lame ass insult makes you look dumb rather than my sarcastic response. To each of their own, dumbass. (Edit: seven cause youtube is now reddit in your world)
Beavis & Buttheads' reaction to a lot of music video's are priceless , like the one where Lemmy appears , and Butthead says " He's Lemmy , he can walk into any damn video he wants to " !!!
@@meyerj75 Just wait until you see this one hilarious parody of the video for the song " Separate Ways " , you will roll around on the floor laughing !!!
@@meyerj75 I have heard that when Journey filmed the video for this song, that Steve Perry's then girlfriend Sherry Swafford didn't really get along with what's her name who is walking around all through this video !!!
@@patchchrist because they're incredibly talented musicians and had one of the greatest singers (my personal favorite singer of all time) but they don't know how to make a music video xD
There really needs to be some parodies of some of the other music videos that Journey did , like the one that they filmed for the song " Chain Reaction " !!! LMAO
@@TheLonelyWolf1000 I like Journey as well, but even Journey didn't like the video to this song. Keep in mind, Journey didn't make the video, someone else filmed them.
The Journey guys can't help but play their instruments, even when they're not holding them. Grey blazer's playing an invisible keyboard at 0:50 (and throughout most of the video.) Red shirt is playing the drums at 1:10.
MrsPaul Funny you feel that way, because when I see them playing air instruments, and then they turn into real ones, all I can think about is how much I wish they had been pretending to fire guns at their heads.
Journey will never be classic rock material. They are considered a 1980s Press Your Luck wannabe band with a singer with a voice like the Swedish Chef.
Last Summer I got to see Journey when they did a concert in Saskatoon and this was the opening song of the show I actually videotaped it with my iPhone it's on my RU-vid channel
@@edwardbrook2029 Why? Every part of this song is a B*TCH to play. Good luck if you're the singer. My God. Perry took me 25 YEARS to emulate. No joke. I'm a music major. Singing, piano and drums.
+Dom Sansotta Yeah. They had to surrender their Grammy when it was proven that they didn't even sing in their albums. Other singers provided the voices.
This is what kids did in 1982… we sat and watched endless hours of music videos. The new medium was MTV back then.. it was 24 hours music video all day all night. “I want my MTV”
Journey had talented musicians. They had a good handful of classic songs. Songs that will likely stay in rotation for as long as rock and roll is played at bars and on the radio. But, the other side is being a victim of the 80s, and this video roasted by the cartoon is proof. Journey are fortunate to have had many hits that will outlive everyone in the band. Good for them. I hope the guy that got paid to be creative director for the video still feels pains of regret. If it was just a silly idea by the band to save money... Bad call, but kinda funny joke I suppose.
I like Journey, but they should not have allowed the director to half-ass that video. Such a great song wasted on what might actually be the worst video of all time.
Beavis and Buttheads reaction t Milli Vamilli doesen't surprise me they were 2 phonies for god sake they had to give back a Grammy but it was still priceless and funny as hell
WHOA! Is this the Partridge Family? No this is Barry Manilow. If this video was a Turd, @least it'd be kinda cool 😎 . Beavis comes up with some good ones every once in a while
