Beckett Sennecke Scouting Report of the 2024 NHL Draft prospect with video analysis and stats review from his season with the Oshawa Generals in the OHL. #nhldraft
I don't watch hockey, but saw this kid get drafted # 3 and decide to check out a video. Your channel deserves to be huge man, such a high quality video. You have me convinced he is going to be a monster.
I understand why so many were scratching their heads when Anaheim took this Sennecke at three, but I have a feeling Verbeek knew what he is doing with this kid.
Tremendous upside already and sounds like he might be still growing. I liked him a lot when he was rated lower. Some lucky team is going to get a good one.
Grant McCagg is a big fan of Sennecke and I can see why. I've seen him fall a lot in some highlight videos but from everything that I know, it's not abnormal for someone who has had a recent growth spurt to get used to his body and that will fix itself in time. I do like his overall play. He's fun to watch and if he is a team player, I'm sure that will help his stock rise. I won't be upset if the Habs draft this guy. He's got some big upsides.
Guys, for the OHL, in 63 matches, 68 points is not enough when you enter the NHL draft. There are some good points about the cuts, but the statistics speak for themselves. It's too early for him to be high. We need to keep an eye on him next season, he should score many times more points. I don’t understand why players like Luchanko and Ritchie are placed high, they have weak indicators for the draft.
@@nhldraftpros thank you so much. It means a lot! I’ve been watching your content for forever and your channel is one of the reasons that I started my own!
With all these D men possibly going early the flyers might have Eiserman or one of the other snipers/playmakers. Their 1# need is a c1 that could play with Michkov. Eiserman is the only winger i would take @ 12 since he reminds me of Cutter.
Habs should pick 2.3 or 4 by trading pick #24 and Matheson for those picks so lets talk to Chicago, Anaheim, or Columbus and pick what fits and be prepared to add to our #5 pick and Add 2 prime talents to our line up. Management can do a better job on who to pick.
habs fans are the most delusional pipe dream fantasizers ever, holy hell bud. nobody is trading up into the top 5, because nobody would trade out of the top 5, get lost. stay mid
Because Matheson eats minutes and was top 6 in the league this year in scoring and is amazing with the younger guys he's a very valuable commodity. Matheson and Winnipegs first round pick to Columbus, Rienbacher to Anaheim. Montreal could draft Lindstrom to play 2nd line right wing and Sennecke to play 2nd line left wing centered by Dach and with the fifth pick they draft right side defenseman Yamechuck to play with guhle. The reason I put Sennecke and Lindstrom where I did is because of the side the shoot.
Jason Spezza Tyler Seguin Drake Batherson and if he TRULY fills out his frame, and gets to 220lbs (40-45lbs more than his current weight) then I would say his comp would be somewhere in between a Martin Necas & an Andrei Svechnikov
If the habs could get another first round a bit later like the 10th of the devils I wouldn’t mind him or even with the jets pick if he drops that low but he seems like a reach at 5th overall
He could be a good one. I'm not sold on him yet but am thinking once he fills out and puts on a bit of muscle he could be a big surprise for some team ? We'll have to wait and see what team is willing to take this chance. Big skilled right wingers are hard to come by ?
@@samspade4050 I love him. I really, really do. I think I have him 4th on my favorite prospects list. But I don’t think he has more upside than Celebrini or Demidov. And even Parekh might have a better ceiling than him. But I really like him. Wouldn’t be sad or mad if Habs picked him at 5th OA
@@moviestoshare813 here is why I think he is a great pick . In the past year he grew 3 inches that’s why he didn’t have a great regular season but he has now gotten used to his size and it showed in the playoffs. He has the hands and the hockey IQ to be a very special player. Plus he is tall and he will fill out
@@moviestoshare813 obviously goalie, veteran Defensive D-men would be nice to go with our young Offensive De, 3rd 4th line big body grinder.. with Smith/Nosek/Tierney coming off, need suitable replacements
@@nhldraftpros 2nd overall and 11th pick... Guess I'll take Demidov, which doesn't jive with NHL draft, but, can't figure why Ducks took Sennecke over Demidov ??? (Sure, the 'Russia factor', but Philly seem to like haven taken that chance if Michkov is coming over already!)
