One thing everyone forgets to mention about how stupid Charlotte getting shoehorned into the Summerslam 2018 match was is that Carmella, who was the champion at the time, had already beaten Charlotte clean just a few months earlier at Backlash.
@@michaelsinger4638 It's a prime example of how WWE can't get out of its own way. They can't leave something well enough alone, so, they have to overbook. Charlotte definitely had ZERO business being in that match, let alone the main event of Wrestlemania 35.
I mean, Becky should thank her lucky stars that Charlotte was inserted into that match, since what would happen to her career if it remained a singles match or anyone other than Charlotte was shoehorned into it? She won't change her character, she won't get the sympathy of the fans that someone "undeserving" was being prioritized over her, she won't call herself The Man since she won't turn on someone whose dad was known for calling himself The Man, the Raw invasion wouldn't happen and therefore Nia wouldn't literally punch her ticket to Mania either, the classic Evolution match won't happen, nothing that made Becky Lynch who she is today would happen if Charlotte Flair wasn't inserted into that match. She would either still be coming out with the steampunk goggles and making bad puns, or wouldn't have been in WWE anymore, which is a very likely possibility.
The only good thing about that would've been the sound the chair made when it hit Rock's head. It would've echoed throughout the P.C.. Outside that, that moment required the crowd.
Charlotte’s ego and insecurities have become very noticeable just watching the show recently. She has to “protect” herself even in being eliminated from the RR even. And WWE gives her no incentive to change because they KEEP cramming her down fan’s throats.

I remember how Charlotte got her match vividly because of R Truth. Charlotte beat Carmella while she was champion and got put in the match. I only remember because Truth kept wanting to fight Carmella since that’s what he thought you needed to do to get a title match. It’s how they became a duo.
This has always been such an idiotic comparison, especially when you consider the women she works with don't actually "draw" anything. Not in the real sense of the word and the ratings tell the whole story. There is no "Stone Cold" here for Charlotte to be the "Triple H" to. I never got why no one noticed that she was going to be massive. Ever since "the 4 horsewomen" were in NXT I looked at her and said "Badass, charismatic, beautiful and talks trash." This lady could be huge.
It was actually easy for Lynch to be overlooked. WWE does not have a great track record of pushing foreign talent. It's actually a testament to Lynch's hard work and her connection with the fans that she gets the chances she gets.

Now because of how big she got they have diminished her to the 5 moves of doom. Wm32 she was the ring general and controlled the pacing of that match.

That Becky story about Charlotte ruining an already awful title swap segment highlights how Charlotte is one of the most selfish preformers in the history of the women’s division. With all of her accomplishments and status and protection, she can’t or doesn’t want to give anything back. Nobody comes out of a program with her looking better. And no matter how much she’s pushed, she always has to make herself more over. I don’t know what she’s compensating for, but the fact that she still can’t put anyone else over at this stage of her career is pretty pathetic.
The idea of Charlotte being "jealous" of someone else, especially when it comes from people who constantly say how overpushed she is and how she always gets what she wants, never made any sense. People need to make up their mind. And let me ask this, Austin has now interviewed 3 of the 4 HW. Who is the one he hasn't interviewed yet? After all logic would tell you they would save "the star" for last, right? So why the last Horsewoman he's yet to interview is Charlotte and not Becky.
Never was from the beginning, Bayley and Sasha were always bigger than Charlotte, specially Sasha, and then in 2018, Becky became bigger than her, now she is number 4 in terms of popularity among them and she can't handle it

I'd agree she's the biggest star too since Sasha has always been popular no matter what and she got over big first, but she's never positioned as the biggest star. Which is sad cause she should be. I'm aware she main-evented Mania last year, but if they really saw Sasha on that elite level they wouldn't eliminate her like a jabroni by Zelina in the Rumble. Can you see any of the others, including Bayley, get that kind of treatment at the Rumble.
Boy did they do everything possible to kill that heat for Becky leading up to WM. Between the fake injury angle and the unneeded assertion of Charlotte into the angle for no reason, the momentum had dissipated so much before the final 2 weeks. Imagine if they had simply built off of the magical stare down after the Rumble.
Every time Becky gets brought up..I think back when Becky was irrelevant in WWE..They even said it on raw one night..But when she one the Smackdown title..I was the most happiest for her then...Her and Charlotte will be forever tied together..even if some have gotten tired of them wrestling each other.
You don't need to be best friends to know what works. They must just agree to work together because pro wrestling demands cooperation from all involved to put on the best performance.

Sasha's moment: comes out, beats up one of the champions and throws her out of the ring. Charlotte's moment: gets verbally punked out by other champion and physically punked out by the challenger.

She had a good match with Rhea Ripley. Heck, she just had a good match with Piper. The fans just didn't care. But the match quality was clean as hell. At some point you gotta give credit where credit is due. You might be saying one thing, but then you have Sasha saying this is her favorite person to wrestle or you have whole schools boosting her skills. So maybe she just isn't your type of wrestler and that's okay. But she's not overrated especially when you have Stardom wrestlers hyping her up too and they are on a whole other level. In terms of her mic skills, I've heard plenty of analysts give her credit where credit is due on the mic. Might not be your cup of tea but she can sell a match and a feud. If you want a bad wrestler, i saw Becky have a bad match with Lacey Evans. I saw Charlotte have a worst match with Evans. I saw Bayley have bad match with her. Then Sasha. There's a bad wrestler right there. If you want an average wrestler, then look at Billie Kay or Tenille Dashwood. Becky is in her spot because she worked for it.
