@@michaelsinger4638 If Japan wasn't so stringent with drug laws, to the point where customs finding drugs on you can result in a permanent ban from the country, Jeff may have had more than a fuckton of alcohol in his system in that match, and instead of Victory Road 2011, we would've had that situation in the Tokyo Dome in front of 42,000 people.

Who cares if he embarrassed a wrestling company? Lol. Ultimately it all comes back on him. Well, except the time in TNA, that was legit their fault. But he’s sick and needs help. AEW should be embarrassed they booked him in a ladder match for the 6/15 airing of Dynamite after not being able to compete for how injured he already was. I think the companies who have handled him so poorly are the ones who should be embarrassed. Jeff Hardy just needs to be helped and he’s needed it for a long, long time.

Yes Jeff needs help but back it down a notch. IV made a few bad mistakes in life, as I'm sure you have also. This judging and everyone acting like Jeff is the worst person in the world n no one, including me, has ever done anything wrong. Alot of these people have probably dealt with addiction n drugs n people don't understand n think they are way superior as a person because they've never drank or got high. It's totally dumb for him to drive that morning he shouldn't at all, ever, but at least he's quit the drugs, he just now needs to get off booze

WWE did not make Jeff a drug addict, that's an assine thing to say frankly, and I can say that, because I am one, and no one made me an addict, accept me. Jeff Hardy chose his profession, and chose the way he wished to perform in his profession.... Ie. Swanton bumps off ladders into chairs, like with Darby Allen, etc. Ultimately, that is the style, in which jeff likes to perform. Thus Jeff's addictions, are largely a result of his own conduct. Where Tony and Vince could be seen as somewhat responsible, but on the slimest of margins, is for giving him an opportunity, the best at that, to continue in the profession. If anything, they should have black balled Jeff from the industry essentially, if only to potentially save his, Jeff's life, since he refuses to at this time, clearly... Furthermore, to that end, Tony should be eashamed of himself, because it was clear why WWE released Jeff... Yet AEW, they couldn't wait to scoop him up, attempting obviously to rub it in Vince's face. That's the only reason, It's obvious, is the only reason Tony bothered to sign Jeff, as quickly as he did. Ultimately,Tony wanted to try and make WWE look bad. Tony should have worried about Jeff, and not Vince. Hopefully from now on, Tony makes that decision going forward. Here's hoping anyway. Instead of saying, look if you can prove you're completely sober, we will give you a job. They didn't do that AEW assumed he was telling the truth, and that WWE were just being assholes, and it turns out they were right to fire him. If anything, Tony should have used due diligence. Instead of placing him in that no disqualification match with Darby, instead of placing him in that ladder match a few weeks priortothat even, instead of having him preparing to perform in the ladder match this week, just 2 weeks essentially after sustaining a concussion, Tony should have used his God damn brain. Then again, he showed, that he could be worse than Vince after the issue with Matt Hardy and Sammy in there no DQ Related match, where Matt was clearly concussed, and Tony,he let the match continue. In fact, he restarted the damn thing. Raby, who normally is a loose cannon ripped him to shreds for it, that being Tony and everybody thought she was an asshole, When clearly,she was right to rip Tony to shredd's, and the same, the same should be done here. WWE has done a lot of shitty things in the name of business, but Tony promised to be better than that, and by being the exact same, if anything, by proxy that makes him worse worse. Simply because, if you promise to be different but you're no different, than you are worse. The best thing Tony can do for Jeff, is to be a good businessman, a good boss, a good person, instead of being,a hapless, nerdy mark. Tony as a good person, may actually give Jeff, the best opportunity to save his life. Tony as a mark, will only help Jeff kill himself, that's a truthful statement. Thus, I only hope, that both Jeff and Tony, ultimately make the right decision, for everyone's sake. Above all else though, one thing is clear, the Wrestling industry is not where Jeff hardly needs to be. At least not performing any longer, which has been clear for years now. I only hope, that collectively, the industry helps Jeff come to that decision. If for no other reason, then to give Jeff the best opportunity, to save his life. That's if by chance, he doesn't wish to save his own, on his own accord. Regardless, I ultimately hope for a better outcome, time will tell if there ultimately is one. Here's hoping that there is ultimately...

There are no ‘correct’ times of the day to drink when you’re an alcoholic and struggling. I’m honestly not sure how he had a license to drive though…keeping a suspended license is illegal. I’d assume Jeff will also be in trouble for that as well. Source: a guy that had a DWI in Texas several years ago.

I don't think it was a matter of Jeff waking up and immediately hitting the bottle. With a BAC that high, it's more likely that he pulled an all-nighter and decided he still had things to do that morning, which is still inexcusable.

Him getting shunned to that level could backfire.

AEW did the right thing? The mere fact of his track record he still manages to sign him to AEW and get this. HE ALWAYS BOOKED JEFF IN A HARDCORE TYPE OF MATCHES KNOWING OF HIS AGE.
