i personally think that the "magnetic timeline in FCP" is the biggest difference between the two. i have used them both and i personally like premiere pro because of the adobe workflow

The biggest arguments against premiere i have are the lack of optimization for OSX meaning your render times will take longer and the monthly subscription. There is something so freeing to me about not being tied down with a month to month payment. Just my thoughts though!
