You may have heard of Rambutan...
You may have heard of Mangosteen...
You may have heard of Langka...
But have you heard of the fruit that you need to open with a Saw!? Yes literally you have to use a hand saw just to open the fruit! A lot of people may look at this photo of me yesterday and think I was "boang/baliw" (crazy). Nope! I was simply using the tool I needed to open up the mysterious...
Miracle Fruit!!
Yes literally that is its name! This fruit from Davao (but growing in my Titos yard) is uniquely medicinal!
Have you tried it!? I have only ever heard of it in the Philippines! Grabe Unique!
One day at a time, One random moment open fruit with a saw at a time... #BecomingFilipino

My 10 yr old daughter said this while watching you Kulas: "Mama, watching his videos make me proud to be a Filipino... he's happy, here, right? while most Filipinos want to leave the Philippines.." And I said yes. Maganda talaga ang Pilipinas.

Hi Kulas, your very famous now in CDO, can I suggest for a next video. How about do like "10 hours walking on New York" with hidden GoPro. Yours is walking in CDO. Love to watch locals reaction when they see you, how they show kindness and how friend CDO people are as we are called "city of golden friendship". How Kagaya-anon embrace you and love you as one of us Filipino. And maybe some of your viewer say you really become a filipino now. Love you Kulas. Keep doing what you do.

In Guyana we use it as vessel to dip water, and some Rasta use as a eating utensil. If the animals eat the inside pulp they will become intoxicated, you can also shape it to your desire while its still young on tree .

This is what I miss about the Philippines, you could just about pick fruits from any tree in your backyard within easy reach. Where we lived in Laguna,we had avocado, jackfruit and star apple trees in front of our house and a guava tree in the back...and I as a child would climb up to whichever tree yields fruits and pick them.It was a whole lot of fun... Kulas, this is my first time learning of this "miracle fruit". Does it have its own native name? I just wonder...
