Love it! I got a waver before Christmas and finally just used it. It’s taken 1st place of all my hair tools.

Ohmg! This is giving me 80s nostalgia! I LOVED my hair crimper! We didn't shake or brush it out, we sprayed Net hairspray for 30 seconds or pulled it high and to the side with a scruncci! HAHA!

Thanks for this great tutorial, it is so helpful to see the process! I bought one of these just before Christmas and I'm trying to get used to it. It is so much larger than the curling iron I always use to get waves in my long hair but I love the results. I wasn't crazy about the way they placed the adjustable temperature dial because it's too easy to accidentally change it when handling it. Since I have fine hair, I don't use it on the highest setting but stay in the 300 =350 range.

I have it and like you, LOVE it!! 😊 The only thing I do different sometimes is the very last layer, the top layer of my hair, I use a regular 1 or 3/4 inch curling iron and get a totally different look.... or leave the ends out & uncurled for another look. So quick and easy! Love, love, love it!! I’ve never received so many compliments on my hair. Great quality for a great price!

I bought the purple one last summer from amazon and i loved how it made my hair look at first but after, it didn't make a beachy wave look anymore. Maybe because my hair wasn't dried as much?

Hello there! Wow! Your hair looks amazing!! And you are sweet and happy..you can see that and it comes through! I was researching the Bed Head wands- the bubble wand and there's another one by the same company that has no bubbles, just a spiral look to its barrel? Forgive me I forget the names but I'm sure you know what I mean lol. Anyway up came you and your wonderful tutorial, with that odd looking device that yes also reminds me of those old crimpers. I was like- hold up..what is this we have here? So glad I watched because this is the one! It looks so fun and easier than needing to wind the hair and knowing me burning my fingers off- heat glove or not! I wonder if I wanted it more loosely curled instead of waves if it can achieve that as well by crimping the hair in tighter spaces? Probably not. That's what the other wands are for lol. But your waves are so gorgeous and full of volume, I think that is what I want. It looks as if you can do a lot with it too. It can be loose and beachy or more defined and elegant too. You would be beautiful no matter what you do with your hair ;) it reminds me of my short stint in beautician school when I was a teenager lol! Those waves were called: finger waves! We had like a month of learning those! Seemed longer and it was all we were doing for weeks and weeks! I was like. We got it already! Lets Let's move on to the good stuff! We used this gel in a jar called: Dippity Doo! Omg I can't believe I'm remembering this! Green goo that I can smell in my memory and tons of pins! After so much time doing tthat, I am sad to say I quit. That was stupid because I love that profession and wish I'd stuck with it. I am a massage therapist for years and still love anything beauty related. I wonder if this device was around back in the olden days, maybe I would have stayed it lol!! My point in this novel of a comment (I apologize!) Is your waves remind me of those finger waves of old but with a new spin on it! Simply put? Gorgeous!! I’m from Italy and couldn’t find this anywhere (I could buy it from the States but it would cost me at least 60$ and take ages to get here, apparently), so I settled on a different deep waver. I really hope to get similar results, since the normal kind of waver (the one with three round barrels) doesn’t give me such deep waves and honestly I don’t see why I should ruin my hair with heath when I can get the same result sleeping with my hair in braids 😅 I wish I could have gotten this Bed Head one, I read a lot of amazing reviews and it gives the exact kind of waves I want!

I see that you held the iron horizontal to your head to get uniform waves. Have you tried using the iron vertical to your head? Also, any suggestions for blending in bangs with the waves? Thank you!

Is this the adjustable wave one? It’s really nice. To keep from getting those stick straight few inches by actually including the ends. I find it looks so much better with the ends included in the wave.

I just tried this yesterday but mine says " BED HEAD WAVE ARTIST DEEP WAVER " from Amazon and it works great! I wonder though, if they have smaller wave than this one.

You said you like to curl your hair cuz of your straight hair. You always want what you don’t have. I have thick wavy hair and it definitely needs taming - I sometimes wake up with one half stick straight and the other half ringlets- I’m not kidding and growing up in the south it was so pyramid like. I’m learning to embrace my waves- hence watching this tutorial

I went looking in Ulta this weekend, for a wave three barell. Tag said $34.99 and this was the only option. I spent $100 on other things. Went online and the price was 39.99 at ulta.com. That was shady, they have different prices. Today I checked and it is $19.99, on sale, so I bought it. I got $5 additional off with the coupon code on the home page ($15 minimum) and I redeenlmed 200 points for $6usd off. I also activated five times reward points on hair tools so I got 43 points and for a final price of about $9.70 (7% sales tax). Less than $10 bill YES! I did a pick up in store to save the shipping charge. I also wanted the conair mini but that is online only, also $19.99 maybe after I try this, I can try that. I didn't buy it the first time because Chi has carry cases and this is so long, how will I store it? In a drawer if it fits. Also purple is not as cute as conair rose gold and white. I wanted to shop around, I think there is better ones out there. Well, I have fine wavy type 2A auburn hair that doesn't hold curl well and hairspray gives me knots. It says to use it on fully dry hair. So I will use dry shampoo after a wash morning, and hopefully this can last me two days. I have oily hair roots. I probably will only do the top crown layer because that is where my long layers are and they get trimmed more. I will use a heat protectant serum. I plan to use this only on work days, not gym days. I live in a top knot. I can crimp sideswept bangs for an updo and pin them back. I don't think it's worth more than $20. Don't pay retail at ulta, ever. Their markups are a lot more than other stores. They mailed everyone 20% off coupons too. I might crimp my high ponytail for days when I have a job interview. I won't use it more than once a week, because heat styling over time can damage. Just for pictures, videos, events. I don't remember if I ever had one of these before and if I did I never used it. I saw another model backstage who wore this look for a swimsuit show so I have wanted it for years. If you want to save money you can just wear braids overnight and take them out.

Your hair is so straight prior to using, do you straighten before using the waver?

I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. Every time I use this it doesn’t turn out like others I’ve seen. Mine turns into a big poofy mess with barely any waves. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I also use the ouai texturizing spray. Please help 🙏

When your hair is straight do you ever wear it down with a Sleek middle part and Tuck it perfectly behind both ears I do that a lot and I love it I also like doing a Sleek ponytail and bun with a scrunchie and wear hoop earrings to finish the look for all three styles do you like any of those hairstyles
