Hi Adriene! I’am familiar with this beautiful practice and thoroughly enjoyed “buzzzzzzing” with you and Benji! Sending love from the Central Coast of California (Los Osos) 🌊 💕
That was interesting 🤔, pretty cool though. Benji , hey , you've got to do the bee breathe with us next time. Sweet ! Alright , love and blessings , have a great day, namaste 🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻🕉☀️🌳🍃🍁🍂🍃🍁🍂🍃🍁🍂🌸🌻🌸🌸🌻🌸🌸🌻🌸🦋🐞🦋🐦🐦💕😘😘😘❤️🐶❤️❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❣️❣️❣️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️❣️
Bee breath. I had no idea such thing existed but it couldn't have come at a better moment. My dad passed away 2 days ago. He loved bees and he had a lot of hives. I can't describe my grief. I smiled when I saw the video
Hi Joanna My name is Joanna too 🙏 I’m so sorry for your loss my darling. 6 months ago my 29 year old son sadly passed away from a long term illness. I wanted to reach out to you and extend my love to you at this very sad time. I want you to know that I understand where you are right now and to just say, please be kind and compassionate to yourself. Please comfort yourself at this time and absolutely let Adriene’s videos help because I can’t tell you how helpful I have found them. My dear one, you are going to need time and comfort. I am sending you lots of love right now from London UK with a big virtual hug xxx ❤️🙏
Morning from Leeds, UK everyone! I have just done Bee Breath on day 8 of Salute to September 2024. It seems appropriate as my youngest niece is off to start University - The Arden - Manchester, UK to start an acting course - Her name is Bea! We had a farewell and Good Luck meal for her last night. My sister and brother-in-law are driving her to Manchester today to move into her student accommodation - the last one to fly the nest. I am going to share this video with them all as they might just need a little bit off bee breath calm! Good Luck Bea! x
I love pranayama's practices, they are so calming, that's what I need most in these rough times. Thank you Adriene. I wish all the community a lovely Sunday. Cheers from Switzerland.❤
I just did that and i wrote this to my notebook: whenever i practice yoga i connect a little deeper to the farthest part of my soul, with myself. Whenever I practice yoga I learn about myself in a more tender way, in a more sincere way. Whenever I practice yoga I see a bit more who I really am. I thought I would share with this community.. 💚
I did this practice a month ago, and I loved it. A month on, and I was really excited to do this one again, I found myself saying, 'yay bee breath I love this one.' Thank you Adriene, I love all your mindfulness, and yoga practices. Today is my one year 300th day, of doing daily yoga with you, and this was a great practice, to celebrate this. Thanks again Adriene, see you tomorrow. Namaste. 🙏💛🐝
Happy One Year Anniversary, Yogi Sis!🎉💐🎉 I didn't have the energy to do much yesterday as I'm fighting a cold, so I made this session up today which was calming. I'm off do my nettie pot ritual, practice an extended meditation 🧘🏿, and do yoga for sick 🤕🤢 recovery 💪🏿 before the usual grading. Have an amazing week! 🦋❤️🦋🙏🏿
Salute Day 8 🙏 September 8th, 2024 Great to BE alive 🙌 Love this practice ❤ I've incorporated bee breath into my life since YWA brought my attention to this calming practice 🙏
Today, I found a dead bee in the car. She was perfectly untouched. We tried to revive her but she didn't make it🥲. We made her a tiny "coffin" altar with a citrine heart on it 🐝🙏 thank you for this
I understand this. You are a river of empathy! Perhaps those auto window rain guards (what are they called?!), and leaving one window slightly open is in order? I always save any insects in need. It feels amazing! And sorry for your loss.
omg i did this and one of my cats was very curious and even made curious meows. She jumped down from her favorite spot on our cat tree and came down to say hi. i think i spoke her language.
I've had a rough couple of days and was super low energy. I didn't manage to do much yesterday besides basic self-care and watching tv. Today I wanted to jump into it again and do some Yoga but found myself struggling physically to keep up. I switched to this video instead and it really calmed my anxiety and stress. Thanks for this practise! It reminded me to be kind to myself and listen to my body instead of pushing myself too hard. 🥲
SALUTE 🌅 | September 8, 2024 | How lovely to come back to this grounding and calming practice. I topped it off with some tai chi to get some mindful movement in. 🙏
Happy Monday, Cecilia! Ah, Thai Chi is awesome. This practice was wonderful for my journey of healing from a cold. I will be practicing yoga for sick recovery 💪🏿 shortly. Have a great day! 🦋❤️🦋
unintentionally dressed in yellow and black to practise today and didn't notice until halfway through the video. opened my eyes and realised you matched too. made me smile! 🐝
Wow! I opted for the higher pitch hum, and I could literally feel my energy rise - genuinely remarkable. I did this exercise outside, and once I finished (and as I’m typing this) remarkably a single cicada came by into the tree beside me and started making its high pitch hum - and there havent been any cicadas out here all day! Think I’d love to try to integrate this practice into my routine twice daily, first in the morning with the higher pitch and then again before bed but with the lower pitch. Thanks Adriene, this one was super cool!
adriene, i cannot thank you enough. the last two months have been hard, with my mind and body finally demanding rest through pain and stiffness thats forced me to leave my job and heal, both physically and mentally. ive always been interested in yoga, but never knew where to start. your channel has truly changed my life. starting with jusy stretches and meditation, and trying for just a few minutes everyday. i dont get on the mat everyday, but im on a good streak of every other day. the movement has been so magical for my body, but also for my mind. ive cried more the past two months than in years, and i feel the tension shed from my muscles with every release of emotion as i intoduce myself to my body. im crying as i type this. i talk to my partner about how much i love your content, and how appreciative i am of your presence, and he pushed me to express my gratitude, even if you never read this. truly, thank you for what you do, what you teach. im excited to start october YWA playlist, im hoping to practice evedy day with you. much love friend❤
An interesting fact about bees is that they don't actually have lungs, so they wouldn't be able to do this practice. Although I don't think they really need it, I think that spending every day pollinating flowers would be quite peaceful even without yoga and meditation :)
@@AuthenticallyFeral Good question! The buzzing sound that bees make is actually the sound of their wings flapping in the air. It happens so frequently (over a hundred times every second), that it sounds like a constant buzzing sound that our ears hear as a constant tone instead of individual flaps. If you want to know how this works then there's a RU-vid short called "pitch is the same thing as rhythm" by DavidBennettPiano that explains it really well in under a minute. Hope this helps!
I am so grateful for you! I found your channel in February when I began doing yoga on a regular basis. I started doing yoga every day in June. I have been pleased that you have so many videos and I have been working my way through your 30 day practices and so many others. I am sorry that I don't have more to give but I just wanted to show my appreciation. Much love to you, Namaste. Laurie ❤
wow. my parasympathetic nerve has been shot after experiencing a mental breakdown from April-June. I’m now on an SSRI and working through that. This soothed me so much. Will be repeating!
Came to say the same thing. Ive been on ssri for 3 weeks now and adrienne helped me a lot with calming yogas. Heres to better days for us. One day at a time :)
@@naomimia9754 💖💖💖 All the best to you! It’s been almost 7 full weeks for me and I feel much better. It’s a slow burn medicine for sure, but don’t give up. You got this.
I came to this after Hero pose, the last day of Attract. I had swerved it earlier in the month as I when I first came across it in a class it was taught as breathing out through sealed lips and I hated the sensation, similarly a mental block with ‘horsey lips’. This was lovely, gentle and I practised it in Hero Pose, it may just take me beyond my aversion to sound meditation. Thank you ❤
You have no idea how much this was needed! This has been a very hectic and busy time for me. I'm getting married next week and we got a letter yesterday saying our landlord wants us to move out of our flat so she can move in so i've been very stressed to say the least! This was the first time i've physically felt my body relax in a while
ATTRACT ⚡ | August 4, 2024 | This was a wonderful, grounding practice for me today. The vibration was so soothing. With all the changes I've had in my life recently, I've been craving some grounding, so I truly appreciated this. 🙏
Happy Sunday, Cecilia! Bee 🐝 Breath 🫁 is definitely grounding. It was a calming, hypnotic experience for me. Now, I need to practice yoga nidra. I hope you're embracing all the chances gracefully. Best wishes! 🦋❤️🦋
You are so AWESOME!!! Sharing your practice with us is such a gift! Your kind and gentle encouragements are so uplifting and your peace is what the world needs. Thank you soooo much!!
Attract day 30🎉 done this practice again, as its the one I have chosen to be the last one I do along side my girl 🐶💔, so hard, but so glad I got one last practice with her. Thank you, Adriene, for this practice and for creating a space that feels safe and I know in the coming days it will be hard, but I will be on my mat with many happy memories of my gorgeous girl. 💖🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻
This beautiful person got me thru a rough bout of pneumonia during the Covid epidemic by reminding me how important it was to keep moving and to really breathe.❤
I kind of feel Adrienne might be welcoming someone home..🧐🐣... Idk if im over-stepping but this would be such a happy phase for us as her yoga community , im just way to excited ig😢❤❤❤❤
I feel the same way too. I noticed it as well. I haven’t been on this channel in a while and I said hmm. If so I pray that all goes well for her. She is the coolest and will make a fine Queen Bee 🥰
ATTRACT love this as enjoying some yoga practice while on travel Really find calm and ease thank you adriene with sidekick benji cosying up by side Namaste 🙏 to all practicing and May all BEE well and at ease
The reaction my body had to this really caught me off guard. When I opened my eyes I couldn’t believe what just happened and then all of a sudden I started crying. That’s not how I usually react. All I know is, that this definitely having a strong affect on my body and I will do this regularly now. Thank you for this unexpected opportunity ❤ sending love out to everybody
Week 2, day 1 of salute! This is my first ever 30 day yoga I joined. I love seeing the difference from when I started to where I am now. Today, I am doing the big exam of my life for my career. Wish me luck guys. Lots of love in and out ❤️
I find it pretty astonishing how right before I clicked on this video, I told myself I needed a nice meditation or breath work practice because I’ve been feeling so down and insecure lately, especially since I’ve been away from home and my family for the summer. Then, right when I opened RU-vid, this video was there waiting for me. I can’t stress enough how your videos come into all types of people’s lives at just the right time! This practice, even though it was short, the moment I opened my eyes after both sessions, i felt the tension fade and a sense of clarity & calm wash over me. I’ve been practicing with you for almost five years because I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder & had extremely bad depression. Now, I have my moments of uncertainty with myself and my mind, but I’m so happy that I can find your presence at just the right moment. Thank you, I love your videos & how you take moments out of your day to make ours just a little bit brighter! ❤
its strange to me, doing this feels like me again. it truly brings out emotion. it feels like i laugh and smiled genuinely again after suffering from anxiety and depression. thank you for this. will do thia every night.
Thanks for the Free video this morning, Adrienne I really enjoyed it. Loved this practice so much. Especially the stereo part of it when covering my ears. It made me feel like a kid again. I pray everyone enjoyed this one as much as I did.
Practicing this alongside Adriene with noise-cancelling headphones, with our natural hums at the exact same tone, was an almost otherworldly experience. Definitely want to incorporate this into my regular practice!
This was AMAZING! I have chronic sinusitis and blocked ears often. The buzzing helped to balance out the air pressure in my ears and bring more clarity. Thank you!!
Thank you for this Adriene. It has been a while since I practiced any particular breathing technique and I needed this. Have a nice day everyone. Namaste🙏
There have been times on the mat when I have felt to sing or hum, simply out of joy and/or peace through my practice. Sometimes just breathing doesn't feel like enough. In the middle of round two here, my mind tapped into that space. Today I'm not alone in the room; there are noises and smells and people nearby. It's not as easy to meditate. So I sought to really swim in the sound, and then I found a song. You said it's normal to have emotion come up, and while I believed you, I certainly didn't think I would be getting emotional this time around! But I did. A sweet connection. Thank you! 💙
My sister is having a “honey bee” themed birthday in a week and I was researching various recipes and gifts and then opened youtube and I see Adrienne had just uploaded this video!! One of those synchronistic moments that let you know the Universe is aware of you. This practice was exactly what I needed since my nervous system has been feeling jittering and anxious lately. Thank you so much!!
I have been learning from you for a long time. You are a wonderful teacher. Now you have shared another very important tool that can help me at any time in any place. Bee Breath is amazing. Thank you very much. ❤
I did this with my two grandkids (11 and 8) this morning here in Ottawa, Canada - thank you Adrienne! - I never have a change to thank you as I do my daily yoga on Fire tv - I'm 73, have been doing yoga with you for 2 and a half years and I am in great shape - I had to see a speacilist for fasciitis last year and after careful exam on my muscle system to rule out other possibilities the young man told me: when I grow up I want to be like you
It's so fun to practice this with kids. And good for you sharing this with your family. I bet it was fun. And keep taking care of yourself, you're doing great.
I found your channel at the beginning of my postpartum period and you have made the last 6months (and listening to what my body needs) so much better. Thank you for sharing 🫶🏼
Attract day 4🎉 thank you, Adriene, I loved this bee breath practice, will be a good one to come back to on days when it feels like everything is building up and I need to take a short break. 💖🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻
i've noticed that this breath is something i've been doing intuitively when i needed to regulate myself, eg in overwhelming social situations or when i'm outside somewhere but need to calm down - glad i now have a full practice for it :)
Thank you Adriene this was such a fresh practice ❤ I usually chant Aum which gives me a similar sensation but bee humming is a fun alternative! Thank you dear.
This was very positive for me. The first set I felt a slight tingle in my extremities. The second set, as soon as our voices synced, just like you said, I started welling up with tears and instead of taking a break I finished with you and it felt like a weight has been lifted. It makes me think of the science experiment where if you strike a tuning fork and let it ring out, any other tuning forks in the room with the Same Frequency begin to vibrate on their own without being struck! But all the unlike frequencies are unaffected… This is Amazingly Powerful, as are You. All the Thank yous are comin’ Atcha!!! Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…
I always try rescuing bees if I find them on the pavement by carrying them to a flower or giving them a tiny bit of sugar water. I really enjoyed this practice. I think this is one of my favourites breaths - it makes me feel grounded, but also lighter.
@PlanCthruZ I try and rescue all insects too! If I find one in my house, I just use a glass and sheet of paper and pop them outside. I'm glad you managed to conquer your fear 😊
Salute l 🦋❤️🦋l Day 8 was practiced on Day 9 l as I have been fighting a cold for 3 days now. I didn't feel well enough to practice yesterday, yet I'm feeling much better today. This practice is always calming. Now, it's time for my extended chakra balancing meditation on my journey to complete healing once I do my nettie pot ritual which is awesome for a cold. I chose the honey 🍯 bee 🐝. Which bee were you all? Best wishes, everyone! 🦋❤️🦋🙏🏿🤞🏿
Felt a little silly at the beginning of this practice and that made me smile. I'm not really looking forward to the rest of this day but I'm glad I'm starting it with a little lift in my spirits. Here's to being silly little bees!
This is a new pranayama for me! Though I had a friend who was a music therapy major that had a similar thing as an exercise she did, so brought up some memories. I have a chess tournament the weekend of the 10th, so some sort of relaxation breathing technique seems helpful. Might work out more of a silent version of this one. Day 523 of the current run.
I ended up getting 3rd place in that chess tournament - this particular breathing exercise didn't come up, but I did make sure to take mindful breaths while doing it. Next tournament is in October, so maybe I'll give it a shot then. Day 558 of the current run.
Thank you so much, Adrienne. Goong through anxiety and yesterday went through a panick attack and this is just a MUST from now on. I would love some mudra content if you feel like it some day. Much love ❤
I was a bee keeper for five years until it became too expensive to recolonize my hives if they didn’t make it through winter, so this really put a smile on my face. I also loved how it warmed and soothed my throat as I’m still dealing with bronchitis after three weeks of coughing. It was very comforting!❤🐝 PS fun fact honeybees have fuzzy bottoms!
