I agree with you, guys. I think it because Barry controlled most of all how much and what brothers should sing and should not (i mean twins solos ). We can hear a lot of Barry's leads and almost nothing from Maurice and little bit more from Robin. It could be much more from them. Everybody would win. But it did not happend, sorry. I love Maurice's voice and his ability like the singer and instruments player very much. So do you, as I understood.
Robin fought Barry for every chance to sing lead. Maybe Maurice just wanted to keep the peace. He had a lovely voice but his was not as strong as Barry's and Robin's. In the end, Barry lost the ability to hit high notes, but Robin's superior voice stayed strong all his life.
Thanks for posting these rare songs, israelifan! Here's hoping Rhino/Reprise decides to continue with the reissue campaign of the Bee Gees' catalogue with the next three Bee Gees albums: "Cucumber Castle"," 2 Years On", and "Trafalgar". The last reissue was 2009's "Odessa" set. If Bee Gee fans contact Rhino and show them that there is sufficient interest, perhaps we fans will enjoy some fine music.
I am so happy that Robin was born during a time that you could be all kind of crazy and do dumb dangerous harmful stuff and could still just get sent home to your family or just told to move away like the family did.

@@souldeep69 I used to be insanely obsessed over Robin Gibb. But I have since moved on.....he is now in memory and the BeeGees are in the Hall of Fame with the others. Well deserved
When I was 16 back in 1967 I heard "New York Mining Disaster 1941" on my little transistor radio while I was lying on the beach in NJ. I thought it was the Beatles immediately and when the DJ said it was the Bee Gees I misheard him and thought he said it was the Beatles also. Glad I was wrong and there was another incredible group to listen to for many years.
