I’m registering in 2024 and There was no finer voice in pop music than Robin”s. It touches my heart as much today as it did years ago. These performances were breathtaking. Rest in heavenly peace, Robin and Maurice
Robin Gibb has the best voice in all the world, silent forever to give us more of his music, but his voice will live on in the music he and his brothers have made. I enjoy listening to Robin's voice, so angelic and soothing. I can't explain how his voice makes me feel. But I am happy when I hear him sing.
Yes, for sheer quality, innate talent, & technique, I think Robin had vastly the superior voice of all the Gibb brothers, but together, they were amazing & the absolute BEST!💞😊
Omg what a sensational memory.!!!!! I was at this concert .Just 15 years old. I was seated 4 rows from the front and could see the sweat on Barrys' face.!!! Totally in love with him and the bee gees for my whole life. Never is there a more brilliant group that has spanned over 5 decades with amazing hits and the ability to reinvent themselves and yet create masterpiece after masterpiece. Yet so humble and down to earth in their dealings with people. Heartbreaking that Barry is the only one left . I saw Robin's solo show in Perth about a year before he died. He was brilliant , even though it was clear he was not well. I hope Barry never stops singing till the lights go out....... in Massachusetts.

Are you able to recall what happened to Robin's right when he was singing Run To Me when he turned and got distracted and smiled so much? Have heard that a fan tried to get on stage and was stopped by security. Just wondered if you recalled it.
What I heard is that a fan was trying to get on stage and security had to stop them but Robin was singing "I Can't See Anybody'. I love that song and I love how even though he was smiling from ear to ear and watching everything that was going on with the fan, he didn't allow it to distract him, he didn't miss a beat or a word. Now that's dedication and true showmanship.
How beautiful they were. This concert was 50 years ago, folks, and never were they better. I wept watching this. Robin is mesmerizing. That voice sends chills.

Robin's voice is what drew me to the Bee Gees back in the 60's & 70's. There is no one that can compare. I wish they had shown what he was looking at when he turned to his right and smiled so big several times. That was really cute. He looked thrilled but maybe it was just Maurice joking around.
The Bee Gees put on a fantastic show as always!!! I love Barry's rugged good looks, Robin's unique voice, and Mo's adorable smile since 1974, and I still love listening to them today. They are addicting and mesmerizing!!!!
@@eileenlois6129 There is a song here on Utube by the BeeGees called Fanny Be Tender With My Love. They didn't sing it publicly too often because Barry said it was to hard to bring all the different harmonies together. It is a fabulous song .

Three talented guys.. everybody covered their songs. Their music is still relevant and the harmonies are perfect! Each with dynamo and talent and Robin’s dancing has always endeared me! God blessed these boys and their massive body of work reveals their ethic. Hard work. Love my boys!
I will never tire of listening to Robin sing. Wish Robin and Maurice will still here . Barry was as well an excellent singer. But Robin will and always will be my favorite. Sorry Barry.
I'd just love to see a movie about their highs and lows throughout their long musical careers. I feel it's past time that with only Barry left it's just a great idea that he help collaborate one of the best movies of our time. I'd be so excited to see this come about!! Barry's son's could help their dad with this huge blowout presentation of the Life of The Bee Gees.. Just a thought, would love to see this come about.. love them all..💜💙♥️♥️💙💜💙💜♥️
@@rhondamcbath6279 Well, the Bee Gees had a pretty amazing career but I don't know if it would make a great film. I'd definitely go see it anyway though. Those Gibb boys, though, were not reliable reporters of their own lives. They all had crap memories. I'd be a bit apprehensive about Barry collaborating because there was no one left to confirm or dispute what he says. Besides the bad memory aspect, he lied pretty regularly about his brothers. He has told quite different tales about Robin's death and that seems like something you'd remember, if not in every detail, at least whether or not you were on speaking terms with your terminally ill brother.
@@juanita6479 The castiing should be either devestating or fun, depending on your own viewpoint. I had heard Brdly Cooper mentioneD c as Barry. I like Cooper as an actor but he' too old to play a 20 year old which is the era that will be the focus I've heard. It also tells me that this is going to Barry-centric if they are looking at Cooper who doesn't really take supporting roles. I have a feeling that Barry being the only one of them left is going to veer towards his versions of truth which upon occasion were flat-out lies. Robin and to a lesser degree Maurice were what he lied about most. Andy, who Barry called his twin, was , winning pretty big in life yet they both acted like the world was out to get them. I can't quite see Robin and Maurice as diabolic and jealous threats to their prettier siblings. ( I don't subscribe to that assesment of the Gibb boy's looks relative to each other.
@@beeharbour Robin's son RJ also seems to be quite involved with this movie. I can't believe he'd let Barry get away with anything. In interviews, he's called Barry on a lie or two, and doesn't seem afraid of Uncle Barry at all. Robin's wife Dwina has also said she did extensive interviews with Robin hoping to write a book one day. So, she does have his side of the story. An interview with RJ on you tube, RJ says the movie will show them "warts and all".
I was 16 in '69 when I first heard them and to me they were like NOTHING I'd ever heard both musically and vocally !!! This is a treasure to be able to watch a concert from 49 yrs ago. YES, breath catching and chills... few do this to me. :o)

Sue, I agree 100% No one can compare to Robin. Not then not now, not ever! Robins voice was a one of a kind unique and beautiful. Just like Robin himself. I love the Bee Gees, the greatest group ever but Robin stole my heart a long time ago. I still love and miss him. Oh my I love that arm movement of Robins on I can't see nobody. He is so sexy.

Robin had one of the most unique voices of our time. Have never heard anyone quite like him since....It breaks my heart that Robin and Mo are gone. I am grateful that we still have the music and that we can watch the videos.
Love Robin so much here,he looked so handsome and such a professional already at this age, I don't know what Maurice did but Robin just carried on didn't miss a beat, I will forever be grateful and thankful that I had the Beegees in my life💗🤗I listen to them most days a treasure indeed.💜🌟☘️

What an entertaining concert! Mo is so funny, and Robin's voice is beautiful. I wish all the people who think Bee Gees are just a disco band could see this.

Barry has such range and can't be denied his physical attractiveness...Robin warbles like bird and I could listen to him till eternity...Maurice...so talented and my favorite...he was more my personality type. everybody is always talking about what wonderful is Barry´s voice, but I am always so shocked and surprised about what beautiful was Robin´s voice. I really enjoy all the songs when he is leading such as I started a joke. His voice was amazing as well and here, in this concert, when he was soo young you can appreciate his beautiful, singular, and powerful voice. Rest my beautiful angel. I am 81 been with them from the gitgo. I would have loved to have 4 sons like that. What God given talent. And the love they had for each other was finnominal.
I'm 58 now & i grew up w/ their music...they are a great musician☺songwriter& the best performer ever in the hustory of concert...up to now i never tired of watching their concert videos & interviews☺i really admired this group they are so down to earth people thar's why they are so popular since 60's....so sad that barry is the last beegee now but pls continue your passion to music coz sir barry & we're still here to support you always🤗Godbless you sir barry 🙏🙏🙏
Another concert where you can feel the energy like you were there in person. A lot of the really great concerts visually included Maurice on stage. No one can surpass these 3 brothers.

Fun to see Barry at age 28 and the twins at age 25. Seeing the Bee Gees in this concert gives us a preview of what is to come. So much energy . A lot of creativity . A sense of humor. And such handsome men who will take their place in music history as some of the best (or in my opinion The Best) song writers of the 20th century.
@ LIN MRACHEK You are certainly not alone in the confidence of saying they were the BEST songwriters in 20th century. Lin,---were you aware in 1994 they were recognized for "BRITAIN'S LIFETIME ACHIEVMENT SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME"? I don' t recall the year,---but they also won the honor of being inducted to the American "Rock n Roll Hall of Fame" in Ohio. It seemed like forever before their talent was recognized publicly. That had to do with issues after the Disco excitement had passed. After the "Disco Era" had passed w/FANS there was a large protest of Disco Music @ Chicago. It pertained to blocking Rock n Roll artist music from radio air play, instead choosing Disco. After that protest, Bee Gees, (they were not alone in producing Disco) couldn' t get air time on radio for ANY genre of music they released, anything @ all. That' s when they wrote music, (not Disco), for other celebrity artist, (Barbra S.; Dianna Ross; Celine Dion; Kenny Rogers, and others. That' s how they were able to get their talented written songs out to the public, through other artist' s single or album releases. They came out finally surviving that difficult time. They were writing day & night, two songs a day, sometimes three a day. They worked very hard to get royalties from their 'works of art'. They also broke up, and came back 3 times!! Unlike many other bands, including The Beatles. YES,----THEY WERE VERY TALENTED, AND SURVIVORS!! 💕💕 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The Bee Gees,will NEVER be topped in many ways. Their success was phenomenal !!! Maurice was so adaptable to whatever part he had to sing and Barry's falsetto and Robins TRULY UNIQUE VOICE! There will NEVER.be another Robin😍! Gibb
I love the Bee Gees. I'm not sure what beat Robin is dancing to but I love to watch him. He had a beautiful smile and voice. But so did Barry and Mo. Mo had the best sense of humor. I've wondered what Mo was doing to crack Robin up. RIP gentlemen. Wish Barry peace, strength and serenity.
I watched a critique of "I Can't See Nobody". It was mentioned in the comments there was a woman attempting to get on the stage. Security detaining her was amusing Robin.

I am upset that I never went far enough to hear the BeeGees before Saturday night fever I did love the music they did in the 80s or 90s, whichever year songs like You Win Again and paying the price of love. Awesome , thanks to RU-vid i was able to go back and see and hear their music from the very beginning of their career. So awesome was this group of brothers, so talented in singing and songwriting. I got to delve into their personal lives, I got to find out how funny and down to earth they were. I listened to their music but find out about them and how they are in their lives beyond their music, was very cool, I'm not old enough to remember them in their beginning I wasn't even born yet, and Saturday night fever came out, I was just a little girl. But as a serious music lover, of course I was a fan. And even though Robin was old enough to be my father or even grandfather I have a little crush on him.

@ Maria Bejarano Monge Have you seen the the LIVE concert with ROBIN & "THE NEUE PHILHARMONIE FRANKFURT ORCHESTRA"? It's on RU-vid, It was in 2004 at the "MUSEUMSPLATZ", BONN, GERMANY. YOU will hear him sing 17 songs w/o Barry and Maurice. I can't imagine the investment he incured to hire this large piece orchestra. They all have to take home a pay check, not just for their performance but the time practicing 17 titles!!
