We explor beechcraft baron interior, baron price, its range and also g58 interior, costs to own and its maximum cruise speed. In this beechcraft review we show all the baron b55 and g58 specs.

I received my multi engine rating in a Beechcraft Travelair. Later on I received my multi IFR on a Baron 58 gaining 1,500 hours changing with a different job on a Baron 55. I had flown other Piper and Cessna twins but enjoyed the Barons the most. The 58 gave an easy 200knot cruise @75% power. I remember doing an NDB approach into Toronto Island Airport when I had a complete electrical failure close to minimums. After pulling breakers and hand cranking the gear down which was hastily done, I landed safely and received a handshake and a thanks for a nice flight. I never said a word to my passenger but doubt that any other twin could have delivered.

Vmo for the C D E55 and 58 is 224ktas. Having flown all 3, the C310 and P Aztec fly like trucks, heavy on pitch and roll. The Baron handles like a sports car. Much lighter on the controls. Has far more powerful engines and far out climbs the Cessna or Piper. I am a happy E55 owner for 13 years. Great airplane.

We’ll done! I flew v tail, A36 bonanzas, barons 55 and 58. I loved all of them. You can’t beat Beech quality. I can compare with the others I flew-310, Apache, and Aero Commander 500😊. I like the others, but the Baron 58 is the cats meow.

Not been bias, completed my apprenticeship in the early nineties through a Beechcraft agencies. In comparison with other other manufacturers, beech out classed with airframe strength, easy access for maintenance, style and design. Beech always looks sporty and flies like a thoroughbred, Beech got it very right.

I like the 58, but I bought a 56TC because of the lycoming engines. Some people wouldn't buy it because it had the lycoming engines. You had to know how to fly the engines.

Nice video! OK, pilots... what would you rather have for the same money... a Baron 58 or a Cirrus SR-22? 2 engines -vs- 1 engine and a parachute?

Baron all day. While the Cirrus is a very nice airplane, and the parachute is a great feature, it’s hard to beat that useful load, range, and versatility. That being said, not all pilots are in the same boat. Every pilot has a different mission. Hauling 4-5 people with bags? Get a Baron. Just you and the wife, maybe a couple of light bags? Get the Cirrus. They both cost a million bucks brand new, but the Baron will cost double to operate. Double the maintenance, double the fuel burn, likely double the insurance, definitely a larger hangar to keep it in too. But used, it’s a tough choice because you can find older very nice Barons for $350k. You can get a LOT of airplane for the money compared to Cirrus. Right now you could buy a used Cessna 340 or 414 for a fraction of the price of a new Cirrus. Just know it’s $80-100k/yr to have one though. Mooney is another great competitor for the Cirrus. They are faster, burn the same fuel per hour, and can be had for much cheaper. The only downside is the 450lb full fuel payload and cramped cabin.

At 2:30 you talk about having 4-cyl engines but picture a 6-cyl engine. It is just a little detail......
