Beef & Chicken BBQ | Seekh Kabab |
Here's a flavorful and easy beef & chicken BBQ recipe:
Ingredients:
2 pounds beef steak or chicken (ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak)
1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and apple cider vinegar.
Mix well to form a marinade.
Marinate the Beef/Chicken:
Place the beef/chicken steak/botti in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the beef, ensuring that each piece is well coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight for best results.
Preheat the Grill:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
Grill the Beef:
Remove the beef from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade.
Place the beef steak/botti on the preheated grill or stick the small beef/chicken pieces (botti) on the seekhs.
Grill the beef/chicken for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done).
During the last few minutes of grilling, brush the beef generously with additional BBQ sauce on both sides.
Rest and Serve:
Once cooked, remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes to retain its juices.
Slice the beef against the grain and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
