With a bit of exaggeration I can say that every Czech has his own recipe for goulash. And today I will cook a goulash thickened with onions, which is slightly spicy and has a very refined taste.
Ingredients:
beef shank 0,7 kg
1 litre of beef broth in total
1 tablespoon tomato puree
onion 0,7 kg
garlic approx. 3 cloves
lard 100 g
bay leaf 2 leaves
juniper approx. 4 balls
marjoram 1/2 tablespoon
sweet paprika 2 tablespoons
cumin 1 tsp
chilli
salt
pepper
