DeGale is a clown. Lost to Groves twice before and well beaten by Jack. Yet he still thinks he's the biggest draw out there. IMO easily beaten by either Smith or Groves. DeGale is a hard man to like, as a British fighter I'd love to get behind him but he is so rude. Constantly interrupting and talking over people makes it very hard to warm to him. For many of us this video was an opportunity to get an insight into the rivalry but he rendered the video almost unwatchable. DeGale often say's that he doesn't understand why he is not universally appreciated by the British fans . . . . . . . . this video goes a long way to explaining why. In mitigation he might have been drinking.

It doesnt matter how successful James Degale becomes, the fact is is that he lost to George Groves in the amateurs and he lost to him in the pros. George may be "broken" and "struggling" but he will always be better 1v1 in the ring against you Degale until you beat in the rematch.
