Once rivals retire and have a chance to reflect the respect grows for one another more, then the friendship develops. So nice to see and long may it continue.
This is fantastic. These lads are top lads for putting the rivalry behind them. They entertained us all, and when all.said and done, that's the game. Nice to see them have a laugh. George, give Carl 2 rings when you get home let him know you're ok.👍
As a natural super middleweight, Canelo fighting Froch, Watching Froch over the years, with his power and chin.. Froch is right he be too big and strong for Canelo.. My opinion
@@stephenmcsweeney7562 he was a class fighter don’t let him being a clown out of the ring distract you from him being a top boxer only 2 losses and one was against ward who you could argue is great.
Calzaghe will always be held in higher regard than Carl but let's not forget how great Frochy was.He fought the toughest of world class opposition back to back and has arguarbly the best resume of fighters on his record of any British fighter apart from Lennox Lewis.
@@randyriggin8306 Despite admitting that Andre Ward was a much better fighter on numerous occasions? Calzaghe, I can understand because win or lose, Carl really wanted to fight him. Steve Collins had a similar bee in his bonnet about Roy Jones Jr. too.
I’ll be really honest I hated Groves during the 2 fight period ( despite preying him to Degale in that fight) but ffs he’s a great guy and grown massively in retirement every credit to both of them for making this work 👊🏻🇬🇧❤️
Benn v eubank was British boxings ultimate rivalry but George and Carl are right up there. Its weird seeing them now laughing and joking with their new bugles and hair pieces.Who would have thought and it's great to see.
I think its brilliant that these days that these guys get on well. They certainly hated each other at the time which i think you have to do being a pro boxer or in any sport. So nice to see them as friends now they are both retired 😊😊😊
A great fun interview. They gave us those awesome fights. Did George invest in a toupee? He looks like he has more hair than he had 10 years ago. No biggie. I'm balder than a cue ball.
George's smile when Carl ia talking about canelo not being natural says it all everyone knows says nothing they all want a piece of the canelo pie. He is a top top fighter but I do think on a level playing field he wouldn't be doing what he has done jumping the divisions like he has
I think Carl and George are class acts, but theres NO way they would have chance against Canelo to quick / to skillful would pick them off with ease George and Carl get hit way to easily - yes tough yes warriors but eventually Canelo get them
