Good cooking, butter with some oil is nicest base for frying. I still remember the taste of 8am breakfast when I was 3, that my grandmother cooked on a fuel stove for when the men came back from milking. Nice steak cooked in butter in a Windsor walled small wrought iron pan. Probably her wedding gift.

Well Cheryl, I live and learn everyday...... I've never heard about adding salt until the water has boiled first, otherwise it takes longer to come to a boil if its added to cold water, thats a complete news item for me 😮 Cheers DougT

I wonder if you coat them in breadcrumbs it will make them super crispy?
