After the advent of the Green Revolution, the use of chemical fertilizers and hybrid seeds saw an increase. Also, we started losing our traditional seeds. The farmers of Madhya Pradesh were also not left untouched by this. Gram Sudhar Samiti (GSS) started a unique initiative to reduce the dependency of farmers on the market in Sidhi district.
The film is made under the Green Hub Central India (GHCI) fellowship, a project of Dusty Foot Foundation and Mahashakti Seva Kendra (MSK), that looks at empowering youth in environment conservation, sustainable agriculture and livelihood through the digital medium.
GHCI is supported by Bharat Rural Livelihood Fund (BRLF)
