The film is on a wetland called Chandlai lake, in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It used to be spread across 9 sq. km, but is now reduced to 2 sq. km. Around 312 species of birds have been recorded here till date, yet that wetland remains under threat of urbanisation. Kishan Meena is a conservationist, who has been working to protect this lake for the past 20 years.
The film is made under the Green Hub Central India (GHCI) fellowship, a project of Dusty Foot Foundation and Mahashakti Seva Kendra (MSK), that looks at empowering youth in environment conservation, sustainable agriculture and livelihood through the digital medium.
GHCI is supported by Bharat Rural Livelihood Fund (BRLF)

A great initiative by Green hub and Kishan Meena sir ,these problem are one of the commonest when one sees about the issue of wetland conservation, but still not much is covered in the recent times in media,which are fairly important to spread among the general people to understand why these ecosystems are degrading in the recent times!

Kishan ji, introduce me to Chandlai lake circa 2016 and sinca then i m a regular visitor over there. But it is very unfortunate that nowadays there are lots of commercial activities in and around lake, due to those the lake is loosing its attraction for birds. If we visit the lake often that may save this place.
