What a moment 2017....one of the best interviews.....got the history and the beginning of Beenie Man's career...hard working, talented and to be one of the best artist in Jamaica even today 2022 hats off to Beenie Man longevity is definitely and abundantly yours ...❤❤❤❤
This is great!!! I'm 74 yrs. First time I'm hearing these two. They are great together, totally knowelable, and evidently respect each other. Intelligence, creative, and funny.💞💯💯💥💥💥
Respect Moses and Rodigan was the best person to bring out your personality . Why because he knows what you're talking about, and genuinely appreciates you.
ShortieLeeroy yhyh your right. If it was anybody else doing the interview, he wouldn't gel with them so. Remember he can be himself because David understand the patoi, no matter how fast it is. This enable Beenie to break free
Thanks for this video. I was first introduced to Beenie Man through Jamaican friends in High School in America and became a huge fan. It warms my heart that he is so humble, genuine, compassionate and respectful to his mother. I also like the fact that he is so loyal to his country's citizens and all his humanitarian efforts. May God continue to bless you Beenie Man.
I'm deeply inspired by this interview & the great respect these two men have for each other! Beenie Man is the greatest performer in dancehall and David Roddigan is the greatest radio DJ and reggae selector! Love how Beenie paid tribute to Roddigan at the end of the interview. Big up!!
@@Trinifella13, thanks for sharing where you're at & you're welcome. Whatever challenges you're facing, know that it is only temporary. Remember, in order for you to have a testimony, you must go through a test. Visualize yourself coming through it like gold tried in the fire. And just like Beenie Man you will get to share your story with the world & it will help someone who is at the place where you were... I am not a musician or entertainer but I have come through major challenges in my childhood & early adult life. I would visualize myself sharing my story on radio & TV. I'm grateful I've been a guest on multiple radio shows in several countries. I was a guest on TV in Ghana & more recently was a guest on TVJ Profile last December. Your imagination is powerful! Don't stop believing & never give up on your dreams!
You can see in Rodigans eyes how sincere and genuine Beenie man was being at the end of the interview and what it meant to him. Made it all worthwhile for Roddi. Two living legends right there.
Beenie man just might be the last major artist who came from the Soundsystem Culture and business end of Reggae Music. Its sad because the newer artists are studio artists and have no clue about what the dancehall was about. Salute to Beenie Man, keepin it 100%
