Beer battered trout fish and chips catch and cook at the lake! Come along with Shaine, Quincy and Hoti as they catch rainbow trout in the canoe, and make fish and chips for lunch on a picturesque bluff over looking the lake.
I think people fail survival challenges for a few simple reasons: 1 - They can't cook 2 - They can't catch 3 - They don't prep right (no beer) 4 - They have no companion (no dog) You, sir, aced this. 10/10, subbed!
Thanks Bee! Great to hear from you again! Ha ha ha! That's awesome! It was so freaking tasty! Thanks for the support and encouragement really appreciate it! We will!
Great vid, it's what iam planing on doing next so thought I'd av a quick RU-vid and bang, your vid was at top and now iam subscribed ha👌 just a quick question, would a 100g fuel make that meal and tea that day and morning(obviously a beer with dinner) thanks
Thanks Andrew! I'm glad you found us! Thanks for subscribing. It's such a delicious way to cook trout, one of my favourites! Oh yeah with beer of course. I believe that would be enough fuel to cook that meal plus tea. I used a 220g fuel canister for this cook and a couple others. Good luck and have fun! Forage on!
Another good video. Would love to see some videos of you going crabbing or clamming. Intrested in seeing what you would make with those. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Rick! I love crabbing and clamming! It's definitely on the list of things to do! I do have one crabbing video, check out my third video, where I bake bread and snorkel for crabs and make the best crab sandwich I've ever eaten! But I'm definitely due to go crabbing again real soon! Clams, mussels, and oysters! Yes please! I appreciate your support and suggestions Rick, very cool ideas! Awesome to hear some foraging suggestions! Forage On!
Great video, have you tried fishing with just a weight and some power eggs or power bait? And also you should buy a underwater camera and stick it to your bobber so we can see the fish taking the bait , that would be some awesome footage
Hey Mario! Thanks buddy! I'm glad you liked it! Yes I have tried fishing that way before, it can be quite an effective technique, especially when there is a hatch coming up from the bottom of the lake and those hungry fish are cruising the depths! I really like fishing with bobbers I find it fun and exciting to watch those suckers start to dance! But I'll switch to whatever is working and catching me fish! Yeah I totally should, it would be awesome footage! That's funny you say that, I was literally just talking about that when we were just out! I'm going to look into it. There's lots of fun stuff I've been thinking about and planning. Thanks again for the support and ideas Mario! Take care bud! Forage On!
You guys should try some different floats. I find those foam ones can be hard to detect bites for smaller trout. They probably feel a bit of resistance from the float
I appreciate the tip, thanks Tyler. Thanks for watching and supporting I really appreciate it. What floats do you recommend? I'm always interested in checking out and testing new gear!
