@@ALL_4_WHEELS Will do but it's probably not until next year now. Getting to Wales is a bit of a trek for us so we normally arrange 3 - 4 day camping trips for when the weather is nice.
That was the problem with my brother having a Disco 2 TD5 it was too heavy and I was forever pulling him out or up!! But great video!! Keep them coming!!
Big heavy body’s on the D2’s a lot of rear ovehang still good to get the 5cylinders pumping for that sound!!! And that white defender!! 400bhp monster!!
Great video👌 as mentioned previously, those tow bars on the Disco's were a issue & lack of ability, I don't mean that in a negative, but you could tell the more experienced with proper set up's, but hey, what do I know, sat watching on my tablet 😂😂
Pop some snow chains on it’ll crawl up like it’s not there we used to run dumper tyers with chains on when we where logging in the Landrovers In Scotland
Would the chains work on the rocks? I’ll make sure everyone has dumper tyres on next time! We used to go to pay n play sites years ago few lads put dumper tyres on the discos and in the mud and forest they were unstoppable!!
Good video as always Adam. I take my hat off to the Dico boys, the Discovery's aren't the best for real slippery traction at the best of times, but fair play between them they got through!!! 👍
Cracking video. That hill got very slick. Were some of the Discos on more road biased tyres VS say AT's. Not sure how much AT's would of helped given how slick it was. Fair play for the Red Disco getting back up and that comp truck sounded amazing.
That’s one mega vertical hill!! Hard to actually stand up on it too!! Yeah the 3 first discos to run were all on road/at tyres That challenge truck has a whopping 400bhp 700lb torque!!
Omg! Why the f... Does the guy in the red Discovery drive all the way down where the car can barely pull itself up ??? and why does the other guy keep turning right ? 😮😂😅
Haha we did say to lower the pressures but few guys were worried about getting air back in them 🤦♂️🤦♂️😆😆😆 good to see everyone giving it ago and not giving up haha
Pretty sure those discos were on road tyres right? Some trepadors or insa turbos wouldve worked a dream there. Theyre just so heavy tho those discos. Shoguns are lighter and from what i saw had better tyres. Still, all made it. Wouldve loved to see bombers and tims 90s walk up the hill like theres nothing there 😂
Yeah first 3 discos road/at tyres the D2’s are so heavy on the back end! The red red one had the most power and could put it down still a good effort though!! What did you think of the white defender?? Shall I put it with Tim and bomber one day??..
Haha you could have a run up from the nearest village!! If you don’t have enough momentum from the word go soon slow down On that cross axel section!! 😎
@@ALL_4_WHEELSsounds good to me 👍. Obviously mine is new to me so want to have confidence in it. Changed all the fluids/oils last week and had a run to the seaside (on road of course), 200+ miles, performed faultlessly 👌. I’ve got a few local lanes planned for sometime next week, I’ll see how that goes before I embarrass myself for RU-vid 🤣
Think its time all Disco Tow Bars need to be cut off 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ this video was hard watch 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ Track was clearly too hard for some of the pretty standard motors. No hate to those that took part but wow 😮😢😢
It was a tough climb, green disco was so underpowered, there’s alot of weight on these disco rear ends!! The shoguns and challenge defender did well!! Which was your favourite??😎👍👍
Yeah they all did really well! Some have little experience but that was a proper hill test! It was like 0-117meters high in a short run up! Really steep climb! What did you think of the white defender! Some power in that!! 😜👌👌
Haha apart from the white defender that’s a full blown monster! Merc engine twin turbo 6 cylinder 400bhp beast!! 🤦♂️👌👌 what we need is a good old dihastsu fourtrak 🤪🤪
