I agree somewhat. Nothing here rhythmically is completely unique to this piece. I can think of many sonatas that I've played with accents on the wrong beats and totally agree that's a hallmark of Beethoven. But completely shifting over to a wrong beat is more unique (again, it happens, but it is more rare). In this piece the audience will start to believe for long sections that the wrong beat is 1. So I'm with you, but the scale in this sonata seems more than most. Either way, thanks for checking out the piece and leaving your thoughts!

Completely crazy. I mean, we expect to get stuck on a V chord at some point, but it's so funny how we get stuck on the wrong V chord, taking us to B. Such a cool piece.
