@@SQUELCH-zj7il There are many instances that it is very noticeable. Women are starting to have botox in my town, and I can point out a lot of them. The face just looks puffy, solid and odd. Not saying that all botox is like that, but in many instances it is.

@@nothanks1239 Yeah it doesn't look good on young people plus a lot of professionals are not too versed on the complexities of the procedure. True professionals will attend medical presentations regularly after they graduate to keep up to date with developments. There are natural alternatives that use blood and Lazer that I will probs get instead when I reach my 40s.

bro she uses botox to smoothen her skin and probably does skin treatments as well. The "treatments" she does are procedures or non invasive treatments done at a clinic or spa. It's useless to ask for a "routine," when that is being supplemented with procedures

I did my first Botox last year I’m 53 now and did it through groupon .. in Toronto.. I did my forehead and frown .. looks great .. crows feet is too soon for me as I age very good still !!

Doesn’t everyone’s face wrinkle when they move it? I’m pretty sure that’s not aging and just a normal moving face. Damn. I’m in my mid 30’s working at a medSpa and I still would never get this done. Too many of my coworkers’ smiles or expressions look incomplete.

Just an input, we get those lines around our eyes if we fake smile a lot, when we don't feel like smiling. When we naturally smile, the face is relaxed, it opens up ❤️

If the lines ain't there when you're not making axpressions then those ain't wrinkles nor fine lines, just normal skin. I'm 20 and can show the same lines if a close my eyes hard. You just got use to not having expression, this is just a human thing. It'd be a health problem if your skin would not create any type of wrinkles no mater how you move it.

You do look great after Botox (but before also!)! But I’d be scared to death to get Botox-especially near my eyes. My eyesight and health are far too important to me. I’ve heard too many horror stories. *Plus,* the muscle atrophies, and I’ve heard this causes the bone to shrink-in the end, Botox makes you age (sag) faster. I’ll take the fine lines!

@@TheYazmanian Hi there, sorry to scare you! :( I’ve heard this several times about the Botox causing muscle atrophy, which in turn, can cause bone loss. I would just research how muscle atrophy and bone loss are connected. Instead of Botox, facial exercises can help, and with facial exercise, the muscle will not atrophy. Eva Fraser is a good place to start! I’d read the forum at EssentialDaySpa too-those ladies are a wealth of information. And read comments under the facial exercise videos here on YT. I think Facearobics is one on here. I hope this helps! 🙏🏻

I can always tell when someone has Botox. It doesn’t make people look younger, IMO it makes them look older. At this point I’m convinced women always look older than men bc of all the unnecessary procedures women get done and all the ridiculous products they’re putting on their face whereas men do none of that. I promise if you all quit doing that too you won’t have to get Botox at 40. Or ever. Let yourself age naturally like most men do

You should be scared! My friend is mid-40s and has been getting botox for years.. when she goes too long without it, she's almost unrecognizable. The best way I can describe it would be that her face sags. Not like in a normal, healthy aging way, but in a way that's really noticeable. I feel so sad for her. I've always been scared of the neurotoxins in botox, but seeing my friend go through this has been enough to deter me from starting it. Maybe when I'm like 50 or 60, but until then I'm doing all the other stuff

Not that I care coz I wouldn't date someone who thinks they get a say in what I do with my face but out of pure curiosity, can I ask why? If you were attracted to a woman and liked her enough to date her, why would finding out she has botox be a deal breaker? Would you be the same if you found out she got her hair coloured or got extensions? What about false lashes or nails? Just trying to see where you draw the line between what's acceptable and what's not.

After my divorce I went to a Dr to get a injection of botex because I was 48 years old and thought it would lift my spirits ! I'm telling you I was in shock because he told me I had no wrinkles and sent me home!! I found one who did it and I looked better before. lo. My friends agreed with the Drs saying my skin was flawless. So you only being 39 I think it's so sad your obsessed with yourself lol
