Grew up off Indian River Rd, it was so convenient to downtown Norfolk, South Norfolk and later Indian River Rd. We were just used to the jet noise. When Greenbrier developed everyone was thrilled. The kids I knew in Norfolk barely knew anything about Chesapeake. 50’s & 60’s. Still lots of good people that still live there
