I wish to have one of these. Edit: I love the standard harness, the other harnesses that they offer for the AVS looks uncomfortable, I wouldn't even buy them just to upgrade if I own one.
Thank you so much for this video, you just helped me out a lot and saved me money. Great video great energy, keep doing what your doing and love that you are using a GBBR as well!
I have a 45" chest, 34" waist, and I'm 5'5". Being vertically challenged, I want to utilize the benefits of the AVS carrier(optimal weight distribution), but don't want it to be too big in the chest or too long to obstruct draw stroke or interacting with my belt. I called Crye and got some lady advising me to go off the chart. She was friendly but didn't seem to know too much on advice or experience. Debating on getting the medium to be able to use AVS carrier with and without a jacket also. It sucks not being able to see these different sizes side by side...
I’m 72” 270lbs with a 38sized waist what size Ava harness would you recommend? I’m definitely more of the big chest, big arm body type guy. I use XL SAPI plates in my XL JPC 1.0 but looking at getting the avs for more load.
I think the medium definitely should still fit with room to spare. I sadly don't have any experience with the harness in a Large, but I'd imagine one would need to be getting over 42 inch waist before needing to consider one of those.
Im about 70' and 235 lbs 38 waist - still go with the small harness and LG plate bags? And side pouches are those? Crye? Are they able to hold 6x6 plates? Great review DD
I think 38 waist is around where I'd start considering moving from the small harness to the medium one. That's closer to my buddy's body style and he was able to wear the medium harness. As for the plate bags, they will be sized to whatever plates you own. The GP pouches are from Crye and are not made for side plates; although they do make side plate pouches.
Yeah man, I'm just about the same height at a 43" chest and the small is the best fit. A medium would probably still be way too big. I think a small is gonna be the way to go.
