I have seen this as a low bun but not on the top. Low buns don't suit me. I will definitely be trying this one! I have long hair like the model and wear an updo (usually some type of bun) every day. Lovely for longer hair! Because you have 2 ponytails it won’t tuck that much on the front hairs( that’s why I never have a high bun or ponytail). Also feels less heavy I think. Love the look.
Okay. This is the absolute most sophisticated and polished version of a messy bun I've ever seen. Like, the chignon can just be completely forgotten now, unless your hair is pretty short and you can't pull this off yet. The little whispies in the front do look really great, but they would drive me insane if I had to wear them. I can imagine it feeling like little bits of cat hair or feathers on your cheeks.
You have no idea what youve just done for me. 😭😭 About a yr and a half ago I lost several large portions of the top of my hair due to auto immune disease. Theyve began growing back and are at that point where if not styled just right they spike and look terrible. This messy bun grabs those pieces and incorporates them into the style. My hair skills are below zero. I tried this and got in such a tangled mess 🤣🤦♀️ I couldn't even make the 2 ponytails without ripping hair out. I give up. Flat, straight and limp is clearly all im meant to have 🤣
You included the most important part, which was the creation of the two ponytails and how to entwine them, but you didn’t show how to pin up the rest of it. That would’ve been very helpful to see.
Why do all your models look like they have crimped hair??? You should put a disclaimer "I crimp my models' hair for volume and texture, therefore it isn't really a 2 minute hairstyle!"
