Alan Wake 2 is absolutely worth 60$ Remedy(developers) manages to amaze me everytime. Control did stunning job with environmental storytelling. Alan Wake 2 continued this trend In Alan Wake 2 you will see gameplay features you've never seen before Want to change level's design in a mere 2 seconds? Done! Wthout any loading screens. Want to watch a story about detectives revealing the secret of a cult? Done! Want a twisted story with several unexpected plot twists? Done and done. You wont find in Alan Wake 2 typical ubisoft or sony gameplay features. There is no need for you to grind something to get access. And there is no childish "hidden" meaning or metaphors about family and friendship. Its an intriguing story about a writer who is trapped in Dark place. And that writer using power of the Dark place can shape the reality itself

Absolutely do not need the first game. I'd wager it's better to only play the second. With no knowledge.

I agree, I played the first and was highly disappointed and dissatisfied with Alan Wake 2 because of the changes. But hopefully people who never played the first had a better time than I did

@@GameandGigI would say it’s better to play the 2nd game then the 1st because I feel like diehard fans that liked the action packed first one, aren’t gonna like the sequel because the pacing is drawn to a crawl.
