Cool lots of similarities! Launched in February too. Made $3k my first month too, then everything went to 💩 when COVID happened (my product is used in gatherings)! Now I barely make 1000$/month from it...oh well you live and you learn! Have my second product en route to the amz warehouse! Not giving up on my AMZ dream!
That's too bad :/ most eCommerce businesses grew during this time. You could maybe remove that product and close the listing for now and do a different product until things return to "normal" so that your product will be in demand again?!
@@TatianaJames thanks for the reply Tatiana ! Since I live in Canada, Amazon can't ship my inventory back to me.. It is slowly getting back in demand now so my sales are starting to slowly pick up (3 units/day) and I have only have about 100 units left so not too bad. My second product should reach Amz by the end of the month and I CAN'T WAIT !

I couldn’t afford the ASM course so I’m taking the MPSH course that you recommend as the 2nd best course and I’m really loving it! But I never see videos on successful sellers who have taken the MPSH course. Can you please do a video on some of them, that would be very encouraging for those of us who can’t afford ASM. This is great, it's always good to hear a success story. I am stuck on product research, it seems selling on Amazon has become very competitive. I love your videos, they're very inspirational. Hopefully one day I will have my breakthrough and find a product that will lead me to success.
Thanks! Competition is a good thing, it means there is demand. If there is not competition for a particular product, you probably don't want to sell it because it most likely means there is no demand! It's not about running away from competition, it's about learning how to be able to distinguish a product that has competition but still lots of opportunity. Some products are saturated and it's obvious which ones those are, so you avoid them. Look for products that have enough demand but are not over-saturated - there are many options.

You mentioned hiring someone to inspect your product...how do you find a person like that. Thats the kind of stuff we want to know. Like more details. I keep hearing do this and do that, but your not telling us where to find these things
I enjoy most of Tatiana's video's but it would be good to know the real numbers that people are doing. Someone can make $10K in revenue and their net income can be $2K because the margin is too low, they didn't price the product correctly or their unit cost was too high. In the future I think it would be better for everyone to know net income instead of revenue because revenue doesn't tell the full story.

I kind of wish I bought ASM instead of MPSH as ASM has more of the business model I was envisioning but hopefully I can take what I learn and apply it to create more of a brand and passion project.
The thing which keeps bothering me on going for a proffesional course is I don’t come from a business background. So even if I learn the art of selling in Amazon , thing is what am I going to sell ? I don’t own or make any product . I come from a software engineering/ coding background

Tatiana do you have a video on how to scout for a 3rd party inspector and how to scout for the manufacture of the products that one would like to sell? Or where to get the products from. I know there are alot of wholesale companies but does amazon use specific companies and specific 3rd party inspectors?
Hi Tatiana, i am about to sign up one of the course. MPSH seems more suitable for me in term of the cost. Can you compare both of the course differences. You have mentioned a lot of marketing activities. Does it really necessary to get involved in the marketing if my ultimate goal is to earn monthly profit 10k in the future? Can we make use of just Amazon PPC at the beginning and stop doing any marketing right after it gains enough reviews?

Hi Tatiana! I am very reluctant to take the ASM or MPSH course. I just finished my master's degree, so I have a rather limited budget. On the other hand, I would be willing to pay more if the ASM course offers several advantages ... I see it as an investment. But what is the main difference between the two? Does the MPSH still detail each step of the process? What would I get if I pay $4000 more? Thank you! And super interesting video as always :)
Hi Alexia, congratulations on achieving your masters! I though I could provide some input as I was in a similar situation. My determining factor was when I considered that I easily spend $5,000 per semester on mandatory courses that provide no real value to me. I figured, why not take a course that I actually want to take that has proven results - this is when I decided to join ASM. I am only 1 week in and the value I see in this course is remarkable, the detail and personal mentoring basically ensures success if you follow their instructions. With your academic background I believe you would especially appreciate what ASM has to offer.
Hi Tatiana, thank you for this video. I dream of bigger things and having my own lifestyle brand someday. I have watched you and Stefan for about 2 years now and I'm finally at a place where I want to take action. Not knowing much about e-commerce, FBA seems to be the easiest path to learn about e-commerce and business in general. Would you say that is true? The ASM course looks interesting, & I'm sure it is very beneficial, but I just can't afford it. The price unfortunately is just not an investment I can even afford to even think about. I have found your videos to be helpful and do appreciate your content here on YT. I'll just continue to take in what I can from your videos and hopefully, through my own trial and error, I will get there.

I was scared of the same thing but then I thought I AM going to fail. I started saying that to myself almost every day because I realized that failing is part of the process. Some people get lucky but most fail first and try again. I invested in ASM11 (I’m still taking the course) and I was so scared to invest in it for the same reason, but this is real. This just feels so possible that it’s okay to fail because as long as I keep learning, it will happen. Good luck to you!

Newbie question here 🙋♀️ when you first started your Amazon business did you register in Canada as a sole proprietor or not until you started actually making money and is this a requirement to import products to the USA? Do you think it is okay depending on your product, to not include a hang tag or insert card with branding and just place in the poly bag alone? Hey Kenzie! I started as a sole proprietor wich means I just set up my business under my personal name... I didn't incorporate until perhaps 6 months into my business. It's a personal choice! Amazon doesn't require you to be an entity in order to sell, it's your choice. You don't need to include any branding however it obviously can help with your brand appeal! I used standard packaging for almost 2 years before I decided it was time to customize the packaging for better customer experience. It's not a huge priority in the beginning if money is tight.

I saw a video that some ariana chick and her boyfriend did when she started FBA but her costs and fees were around $12,000+ and that wasn't including product or a course? I saw your video that would be around $3,200 with product and had "OPTIONAL" things like courses or advertisements. So why was hers so much???
Hello Tatiana, Thanks very much for the information that you are putting out to help us succeed on Amazon business. I'm a new Amazon seller and I need some urgent help please!. Amazon suspended another new separate account that I opened as a sole proprietor that's different from the partnership account that we currently have active.The reason they gave is due to Linked/related other Amazon account. I did not realize that I have to ask for permission before opening a new account. I have appealed twice since then telling them that I have separated the bank accounts,phone ,address. Please can anyone help me with an appeal letter sample for amazon Linked /related accounts or suggestions on how best to reinstate my suspended account . I'm also looking for an Amazon expert that will help me manage my account, does anyone have any recommendations. Thanks a million for your help
