Stay cozy in this Bulky & Quick Beanie for Winter. This is a great beginner project that uses basic crochet stitches. The pattern comes in Baby to Adult so that you can make a hat for the entire family. Make the hat and yarn pompom with only 1 skein of yarn in less than 30 minutes.

I loved this hat. I began making it last night and it flowed. I made a few mistakes but I was so happy to continue that I didn’t mind pulling it and redoing it. I loved how it came out. It is beautiful. Thank you I have five granddaughters , so they will get this beautiful hat.

Thank you for this pattern and tutorial! I have some beautiful bulky mill ends that I'm using to make hats for donation for migrants as its about to get cold and am happy to have guidelines for different sizes. I don't use bulky yarn much, so this is very helpful.

Just make double crochets…however wide and long you want it. Add fringe. It will match perfectly.

Pardon my ignorance, but can someone please explain this to me like I'm an idiot? You put 10 DCs into the first loop, then slip stitch to join. Ch 2. For round 2, what do you do with the chain 2? And where do you put the 2 DCs? The hole where the chain 2 comes out of, or the next visible stitch?
