The one thing I wish I could do was go back to those beginning days it was so fun..exciting/exhilarating. Please relish and enjoy those beginning days that's the best part. And dont get cocky. Dont be scared to get on the Highway.. it's actually safer than the streets. 1st bike Gixxer 600 ..2 years riding..
Thanks! Great tip about the rear brake on the hills, I’ve been juggling the front and throttle as I’m taking off from certain points of my neighborhood that are a bit hilly.. rear brake just makes sense, I just passed my MSF course yesterday and got my new bike a week ago, I still have so much to learn and practice all I’ve been doing is staying in the neighborhood practicing my slow speeds and turns It’s all so exciting thanks dude for the tips! Can’t wait to get to know my bike better 😁
I’m not a new rider but I saw this video I thought it was pretty good. I’m only like 5 mins in but I wanted to tell you that so far I think you are helping a lot of people. You are kinda in the anti squid category and that’s a really good thing. I’ll finish the video and let you know if there is any misinformation I can help with. Keep up the good work and focus on teaching if you can with this channel. You have no idea how important that is
Oh man randomly came across your channel and you reminded me how I felt when I first started riding. One of the best feelings in the world. 4yrs of riding thus far and never a dull moment. Started on an 03'cbr600rr and currently on a 12' triumph street triple r. Ride safe dude. New sub. 👍
Good tips. Just started practicing how to learn how to ride a bike a week ago. Finally convinced the hubby to teach me. So we shall see how it goes. Pray for me lol 🙏🏻😂😂
BIKE LIFE I passed msf with no riding experience at all. I always wanted to ride, especially the R6 but I went with a 2016 Yamaha r3 and it’s teaching me well. Maybe down the road when I get a lot of experience I’ll get my dream bike
Thank you for your help! I purchased my first bike exactly 1 week ago. Due to coronavirus lockdown I havent been able to take safety classes or get my permit or anything. So instead of just leaving my bike in the garage all summer waiting for classes, I decided to take my bike to a mall parking lot and have been spending 4 or 5 hours a day practicing and have self taught myself the basics. Now just trying to learn secondary skills
good tip w the back break on hills. I tend to use my clutch catch point more when starting on a hill. something thats translated to my bike riding from driving manual on my car.
Defiantly helped me on my first few days of riding watching your series good to see you got it down and are Finally comfortable enough to give tips now
I bought a gen 1 Yamaha vmax last winter. Is it too much bike? Of course it is! But its rider mentality that determines if you should ride that particular bike. Also starting off dont be whacking that throttle through gear until you got at least 6 months of easy riding on that bike cause you have no idea how twitchy these liter bikes can be. And once you open that throttle there's no going back from that and when you tell it to go best believe its going to be instant and pulling hard
Great tips bro I’m coming from zero experience I passed my msf but not able to get my endorsement due to dmv closures but I ride out when I can and cruise around for highway and street experience practice is important but I ride with full safety and caution, I’m baby riding my ninja 636 lol but I’m enjoying it. Shout out Revzilla for my gear 👍🏻
Thanks for your videos and advices u always make my day thanks for the tips today is my birthday too 😊😁 when you post it 💯💯💯 is always a good thing I can't wait for the future mods keep the great content and work 👌🔥🔥 coming
@@bikelife4537 Did you go from passing the msf course to getting m license, straight to the gxr 600? Did you practice on anything beforehand like a rental?
I just use my palms now and fingers to shift and brake but my whole left hand was numb asf for 2 weeks from riding for 3 weeks like a racer on the street what I call practicing lol I practice everything slow speed and high speed maneuvers fastest my bikes been is 158 mph I'm starting on a 600 aswell only I don't fear it at all which can be a very bad thing at times.
Super good content dude! Im currently shopping around for my first bike but also I'm not sure if i should go with a 500 or not. I was really into the 650 class then talked myself out of it lol still not sure tho I think for me it'll come down to the best deal I get
starting on a 650 isn’t as bad as it seems, I was super nervous to take my bike out even around my neighborhood but once you get over the hump and just do it and go at your own pace, you’ll get it eventually
SauceButtahs same here I got a 2015 MT-07 as my first bike this year, I was nervous at first cause it’s a 689cc bike but as you move at your own pace you get the feel for your bike and you’ll be on the road in no time. Ride safe and practice a lot and you’ll be fine!
Where you live is like riding a motorcycle on hard mode. You have all the elements, animals, 2 lane roads, dirt and gravel, and I even saw standing water. You are probably on the wrong bike for that area but you definitely don’t need to upgrade to a 1000 anytime soon. That’s 600 will be a much better bike for your environment. A cruiser would be even better but that’s not a very fun bike
Did you get your license yet maby do video on how to do the figure 8s I feel like that gna be hard I'm in Pennsylvania to and getting a gsxr but the box seems really small with a 400lb bike
I use davinci resolve for editing. Its free and good. You can use adobe but just pirate it. My first bike was an 05 ninja 500r, second bike 09 triumph daytona 675.
Good advice.... Now my turn. BODY STEER ALL THE TIME. NEVER USE THE REAR BRAKE. GRAB A FIST-FULL OF FRONT BRAKE. TRY TO BEAT THE GUY AT THE LIGHT BESIDE YOU. WIDE OPEN THROTTLE IN NEUTRAL, THEN STOMP FIRST GEAR AND DUMP THE CLUTCH! good luck!
From my experience new bikers usually fall cause they hit too hard on the front brakes while in a turn or they let the clutch just a bit faster than they should.I gave up manual gears bikes alot time ago.I want to feel more carefree while on 2 wheels.
