I bought my first motorcycle in 2003 it was a Yamaha R6 Champion edition. I didn’t have a license but had a riders permit. I drove 1 1/2 away and bought it with cash from a private seller. He owned a power sports company and I rode it home that day. I’ve been riding ever since and thankfully I’ve never been down. I do however dress for slide. Stay safe out there and enjoy.

Just recently got a GSXR 600. Slow speed turns are soooo difficult. Had a r3 before and I felt I had mastered slow speed turning. GSXR is gonna take some practice

Literally same situation as you , got my bike license year ago and looking for my first bike and my friend is giving me his gxsr 600 for a good price so watching this gave me confidence , safe riding man 🫡

Just got myself a L1 GSXR 600 6 months after doing my full bike licence(UK) nervous about jumping on the bike for the first time. Came to your channel after finding your first ride on a 600. Got to say your confidence on the bike has shot up! Shame your not making content anymore!

😂🤣Lol, love it! I never ridin anything other than a mountain bike and that was in my teen years. At 39 i decided to get my endorsement and on Nov 10, 2023 took my 2 day MSF course and passed on the 2nd day and on Dec 10, 2023 Purchased my 1st bike 2023 Kawasaki ZX6R (Non ABS) and have only 350 miles under my belt, thank GOD i made the decision to start riding.
Everything seemed to be going fine and then almost overnight, "95 in a 35", "burnouts", "wheelies", I guess we have another circus clown on the streets.
This video is a few years old now so for other New riders watching this, don't stop and then go into 1st gear. Get yourself into first gear before you come to a complete stop.....also, when you start from a stop, remember, the throttle is your power the clutch is your speed, before you take off tweak the throttle up a little and hold it there, DO NOT whine it out by going full throttle just turn it up a little you'll hear the engine rev a little faster. Now when you slowly release the clutch you'll have power to move the bike forward and you should not stall, open the clutch lever SLOWLY.
I like your style. 600 as a first bike is stupid, but your mentality and high vis gear make it procedural stupidity. Goes to show you can do cool and dangerous stuff if you are as safe as you can be and know the risks
Used to be really good at wheelies on my SV until I looped... Back on a GSXR 600 now and trying to relearn how to wheelie, very different on this kinda bike, but this time taking it slow and making sure the gsxr don't end up like the SV. I miss her every day 😢
Hey how r u doing rideing ur bike ? Do u think if someone never rode a bike won't to start on a 600 long as he don't hit the throttle but I can drive a stick shift
