Congrats on 1 year! Bro, let me give you a piece of advice. STOP riding in a T-Shirt!!! Please read below, I know it's long but worth it. I was at 11 months on my first bike- 2019 Ninja 650. On 7/13, an 83 yr old lady came from a side street and slammed into me while I was just cruising at 40 mph up a main route in my area. I saw her, she did this stop start hesitation movement, I rolled off throttle, then I saw she was stopped. I continued on and at the last moment, all of a sudden she floored it right out into me. There was literally nothing I can do, no amount of braking or emergency maneuvers were going to help. There was no time anyway to do anything. This has effed my life up right now. I am having PTSD from this, I keep getting flash backs of her car and me flipping like a ragdoll over the front of her car. I'm still recovering from a fractured right clavicle, left fractured greater trocantur, and left broken tibial plateau. A piece of the bone from my knee was found 4 inches up my leg. I had multiple contusions all over my body. I had left reconstructive knee surgery, and 1 extra revision on it and I still need to get my ACL reattached. And I have a SLAP tear in my right shoulder, same side as fractured clavicle. Bro, I was head to toe in full gear. If I had only a T-shirt on, I would have lost the skin on my upper body and arms and had way worse injuries. Or I might have died!!! This came out of nowhere, absolutely nowhere. I'm telling you man, you don't know when this may happen to you and you're going to regret it really bad if you hit the pavement at 40mph with only a T shirt and jeans on. I had a Moto-D Undersuit with D30 chest protection, an Icon Textile jacket with D30 protection in shoulders, elbows and back. A-Stars pants with upgraded level 2 hip protection, knee and chin protection. A-Stars shorty boots (above ankle) an Icon Airflite helmet and I still had many bad injuries. Luckily, (I thank God and my guardian angel) that I did not lose consciousness or have any brain or internal injuries. My surgeon said my left leg did have massive trauma and bleeding inside of it and I got one of the worst knee injuries to get. Complete dislocation. He had to do a lot to put my knee back together and lay back down all the tendons and ligaments. I have 2 large screws in my knee. Can you imagine if I only had on a Tshirt and jeans? Or I see some people out there riding with shorts on and sneakers. That is just absolutely crazy!!!

I got my 2019 gsxr600 last year!. Same exact bike. Havent done anything to it. Yet! Have half the mile you do and about the same amount of riding experience. Couple steps behind you in the wheelies but I can power wheelie pretty decent! Its a great bike! Keep up the great videos as well.

U should get the SC project exhaust it’s amazing u don’t need to get the full system just the slip in it so cool sounds great. Ur doing great riding. I have been riding 40 years and have crashed many times mostly on track racing. That’s great u hit 5000 miles quick. I been here since u started. Do good man

Absolutely Love your Bike.I envy you.I wish i could have a Gixxer but i will never have the money .I'm an ESL Teacher in El Salvador and the salary is aweful. 350-425$ a month minus taxes and then payments for water ,food etc. Leaves hardly.anything left.Its a dream of mine to ride and own a sexy gixxer. I like the way you think about risk of hitting a car

Most riders will never use the full power of a 600 and don't ever need a 1000. Everyone seems to want a 1000 because it's the "cool" thing to do but you will be a much better rider if you learn to ride that 600 fast on track.

idk if it's the location that makes us different riders or just personality? For me, I started on Yamaha R1 for my first bike and was really interested in riding at the canyons. Nice bike anyways, you'll love getting a 1000 whenever you get it for sure.. -I'm a motovlogger from Cali btw... Much different roads and scenery.

I have the same exact bike mines a little older.but I've been learning the Willies also I started out just like u and found out I was just going a little to fast for the bike..try going just 15 20 mile and hour in first gear and clutch up. literally pull the clutch in and rev it up about 10 12 grand it's gonna come up alot farther for ya

The s1000rr is a great machine. It would definitely be a great second bike. The stock exhaust on the gsxr 600 isn't terrible.

After you crash the first time, go buy the best gear you can afford. Think ATGATT. All the gear, all the time. I know you are influenced by Gixxer Brah. Think of taking a belt sander to your arm and let it run for about 15 seconds. Then all the other parts of your body with the same,.Thats what asphalt does. Then you have roads that have big chips. FAR worse than smooth asphalt. The day of the crash isn’t the worse day. I wore the same thing that you do when I started. The ONLY was to get all of that tar and asphalt out of your skin to prevent infection, is with a disinfected, small plastic scrub brush on your open wounds. It will be the most pain you’ve ever experienced in your lift. It gets worse, because you bleed in the night and your bandages stick to your bedding and you peel your scabs with every toss and turn in the night, which further prevents quick healing. I think you’re doing great though and have a good head on your shoulders.

Rather buy 6 tires than exhaust?...what you don't know is that the bikes are tuned lean as hell from the factory and exhaust and intake upgrades with a tune make the bike run and function as it should. It's not about how loud it is dude. You will learn young jedi......and hey, Brian 636 has exhaust on his bike!....lol
