I know I keep saying I love every set more than the last, but this one is just so beautiful. The simplicity of the colours and designs make it such perfect designs for Christmas! Navy Blue is sometimes a tricky colour to achieve but adding a touch of black darkens and deepens the colour nicely.
Also, in this set, I show you not every set goes perfect! A few things happened to my cookies while decorating. And as a bonus I'll show you how I like to fix my craters!
For a few tricks on how to achieve different shades easily with colours, see my colour tutorial here:
• EASY TRICKS TO MAKE TH...
For the colours I used in this set:
Dark Blue: Americolor Navy Blue with a touch of Chefmaster Super Black Diamond and Americolor Royal Blue
Light Blue: Americolor Navy Blue and Chefmaster Ivory

Thank you for explaining in detail how and when to do each step and why you do what you do. It helps to put things into perspective. This set is really awesome that teal blue n white combination is everything! I love it ❤ Thank you for all that you continue to do and how you teach and guide is what sets you apart from the rest. In this world of instant gratification I'm grateful for those who take their time. Happiest of Holidays to you and yours and I pray that you're able to gift all of these cookies you make and that they don't go to waste.

Thank you so much ❤️❤️ I'm really glad you love the videos and thank you for your support by watching them! I usually let my husband and kids eat the cookies but sometimes by the time I'm done filming they've sat around for a long time or I've used old icing or cookie dough, so not all of them get eaten. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas

I love them, the colours are a perfect match to my favourite shades of blue. Your talent always blows me away. I don't know if you realise how amazing you are. I am chronically ill and when I turned 32 my lifelong specialists team gave me two years at the most to live. I could no longer be a teacher and foster Mum which devastated me as I thought it was my life purpose. I was determined to see my newborn nephew grow up for as long as possible. My sister and her family are in England while I'm in our home country New Zealand and my goal was to see him one last time. I'm 45 now and in many ways a walking miracle. I am bedridden a lot and I use youtube to distract me from my constant stabbing pain. I am blessed to have you on my list of subscribled channels. So you are helping me cope, learn and your voice is calm and peaceful. I believe in thanking someone who impacts your life because we are all very good at complaining when something is wrong but forget to compliment. So we never really know how far you go impacting others lives positively. I'm doing some research on what cookie I'm doing this Christmas. I'm an amateur and I haven't actually made any since I did snowflake cookies last Christmas. Xx

You are such an inspiration to me! You have reminded me not to take anything for granted again. Your story brought tears to my eyes and it's always the good people that suffer the most in this world, as God knows they are strong enough to accept it and keep going (even if you may not feel like it sometimes). Thank you so much for your message and I wish you the absolute best and many many more years of really good days and to see your nephew grow! I wish you the absolute best this Christmas and I hope you have a chance to make some cookies 🥰❤️ thank you ❤️

@LittleCookieCo what a beautiful message, so kind and thoughtful. Thank you for not just reading my long message but replying to it as well. You have a very kind and genuine heart. Please don't have tears I'm at peace with it and in a way what I have gone through healthwise is a positive thing because my testimony can inspire others and let them know that they can find that little bit of extra strength to keep going especially if they have faith that God would never give us more than we can handle and when we can't take one more step God carries us. Christmas time has been a bit hard these last few years as Mum passed away three years ago on 26th of December and thirteen months and one day later on January the 27th. I'm blessed that my best friend of 35 years (we met at school when we were 10) and her extended family are like my second family and have helped me to do everything. I'm pretty sure I'll get some cookies made as I like to give people things I've made. I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a wonderful year. Xx

These are amazing and I love them! When you cut out your dough, did you use a specific cutter then cut your shape, or did you just cut the design when the dough was dry? I would love to try these designs, but I’m not that creative to cut my own designs. Lol! You totally rocked this! ❤
@LittleCookieCo
@LittleCookieCo 6 месяцев назад
Thank you!! I cut out a template out of paper and then cut around the paper on my dough with a knife or sometimes I use my projector as well to shine an image and cut around when I do shapes I dont have a cutter for!! And I do it before baking!

Thank you for sharing so much about how to make cookies. I love watching your work. I was wondering if you could share a way to store the cookies. For example if you make a large batch ahead of time do you refrigerate them? I worry about colors bleeding once the thaw out.
@LittleCookieCo
@LittleCookieCo 6 месяцев назад
The best way to store cookies if you make them in advance is freezing them! They taste just as great as fresh cookies! The only thing is you want to make sure they're in an airtight container and when you go to defrost them, you can't open the container until they're fully defrosted. This way you'll avoid condensation and the icing getting a bit wet and maybe sticky!!
@cherriward2246
@cherriward2246 6 месяцев назад
Thank you so much! They are wrapped individually in cellophane so maybe I will put them in airtight container also! Thanks for the tip!

What is typical drying time for the flood sections? I’m never tried doing these , but I want to learn. Great videos !
@LittleCookieCo
@LittleCookieCo 6 месяцев назад
If you just leave them on the counter it can take anywhere from 30-45 minutes for a section to dry enough to do another section on it or near it. If you put a fan nearby to circulate air they can dry in 20-30 minutes! Thank you ❤️

@tracydevinechipley224
@tracydevinechipley224 5 месяцев назад
I am brand new to cookies, and I have a question about craters. I noticed that you are building up smaller areas with the thicker icing before the flooding. In my mind, it seems like the larger areas would have sunken-in areas. Could you please explain craters to me.
