Many people often make mention that I wear a revolver in all my videos. I thought it would be helpful to people to create a video on the basics of guns and firearms. I noticed there are no videos online that summarize a lot of different facets of learning to shoot. Most gun videos are on very specific topics. I wanted to make something that was a bit more broad and could act as a general introduction to firearms.

Awesome. Thank you so much! Like I said in the video, terminology is the most important thing in learning ANY new skill. If you can't understand the language and the jargon, any new skill is going to be confusing. Once you and your teacher are on the same page with the terms and words being used, learning gets far easier. I'm so glad this helped you!

100 yards away from your target using a .22Lr rifle while standing up using iron sites is a pretty tough shot , good job and great tutorial thanks

My dad made us try to shoot back when I was 13 yo (which my mom taught us, me and my sister, how to aim) and I learned pretty fast and i got satisfied with how fast I learned and had fun actually, and now I'm dying to learn all of the basics and trying to learn how to use them conveniently and safely.

Not violent at all just trying to learn how to shoot a gun. For self defense just in case I'm in a situation like a robbery or someone is threatening my life. Very important to learn guns.

I’ve watched several videos on gun ownership and about starting out and this is very very good because it doesn’t assume us newbies know anything.. which is how you teach ppl. Other videos were informative if you already have a basic knowledge. Learning the terminology is very helpful for me and helps me relate this info to other things I e learned this far.

I was JUST ranting about how safety briefings make no sense if the student has no clue what you are talking about. This is stellar. Thank you very much. I use this approach with anything I teach, from computer technology, to skateboarding, to firearms. Because, yes, you're right. If the student and the teacher don't share a common language of terminology, the student will be lost.

You are most welcome. As I say in the video, I think that is the most essential topic to begin with when teaching ANY subject. If the student doesn't understand the terminology used by the teacher, they won't learn a thing. You need to establish a common-ground of language before expanding upon any teaching.

I try to. Sometimes, when people leave really bizarre comments, I ignore them, because I don't even know how to reply. But, if people take the time to leave a sensible comment, I feel like they deserve the courtesy of a reply.

I'm really love guns, but I've never used a one, I really wanna learn how to use it and shoot it at least, such a dream to me but unfortunately there is not even a training class to go for, except the military one which I cant't go due to my fam, I mean they don't like it ,so thanks for your video I'm really enjoying it.

Thank you so much for that. The best video I’ve seen for beginners up to now. I went to one of those idiot ranges where I was handed a high-power shotgun on my first session lol. Luckily, I still have my front teeth.

I'm Filipino who have seen a lot of guns in Ph streets. I have seen security guards bring shotguns or rifles with sidearms in establishments like malls, schools, offices, or even parks. Seeing guns in daily life makes me want to learn about it. I have been afraid of carrying or even holding it. Now I'm here in US, I want to own one as part of the Constitution and become a responsible gun owner. This video gave me a good insight. Thank you.
