This is the first I have come across this idea. I have been using the mesh that onions come in but used it by itself. Now I will try this but will use cotton batting rather than poly.

Thank you for the idea! I'll make some during the Passover/ Easter holiday. I have saved old shower sponges and now I know why. 🤗

I have watched several different videos and like yours better. The only thing i do differentt is, I sew the qsuarter inch seam around, leaving the opening. Then I stuff the sponge and then sew the opening. This works bettter for me. Thank you

Thanksss SOO SOO much for making this video! Im super excited to try it. To make mine extra eco friendly im gonna use the remains of fabrics that I already use to stuff the sponge, hopefully I’ll work! Thanks so much!

could you also use cotton? or does it has to be flanel?

The polyfill doesnt get all nasty and moldy? Polyfill is tough to get fully dry. I'd think flat batting would work better.

I don't have an issue but you could use other things.

How do you layer the fabrics? You aren’t very explicit on that

Toss in washing machine every few days or week. That's about it. Super easy.

I use a fresh one every day. So I just have a few and wash after a day of using. You can also put it wet, in the microwave. They last a long time!
