Thanks for the video! I just started learning to use my serger (same as the one in the video), which I have taken out of the box many times over the many years I’ve owned it. The big fear was threading it, but I did it! After using it only a few days, I am loving it. I like the tip to change did not know that threading the needle with a different color. I wouldn’t have thought about that but I can see how it would be useful.
I watched the bit about the salvage edge a couple times, and paired with the visuals, I couldn't figure out if it was supposed to be the neat edge or the rough edge. I looked it up, and so if anyone is confused like I was, the salvage edge is the neat edge. When discussing the understitch specifically in relation to facing I wasn't sure what that meant. I've no clue what a facing is, but I'll watch the video again to see if I missed it. ❤️ Thank you for the information and giving me some more terms to explore.
Obsessed with your lovely self and channel. You’re videos have been so easy to follow along with. Thank you for this terms video. I feel a bit left behind in the sewing world being that I don’t have family interested in this skill. But I’m so eager to learn, thank you for making the sewing world seem less scarier than I’ve always imagined it. Your talents are so appreciated. And Thank you to those that have helped you share your passion, create your business, and this channel. Much love~ Kay

Thank you for the videos and patterns you’ve created! I’ve been going through and watching a lot as I’m a beginner and I find the way you share information and your video editing/shots really (really!) helpful! Look forward to all your future postings too 😊
