This is a simple attempt at the one pot swirl method. I created a simple Activated Charcoal and Oat soap that is ideal for use on face and body. If you are a beginner soap maker, this is a nice simple soap you can try.
Oh the marble pattern turned out really well! When you poured it I thought it just all mixed together, but after it set the swirls really popped! I really like the idea of oat powder too. I remember taking an oatmeal bath as a kid when I had chicken pox and it felt sooo soothing! P.S. I’ve also heard them referred to as ‘cavity molds.’
Oh this is true (re- cavity molds). Haha when I poured the soap I literally was so unhappy because I thought the same lol. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the marble design. And oat is amazing! I really love it! You just reminded me of my childhood as well .... for me, it was calamine lotion 😅. Thanks for watching! ❤️
Hello Sis ❤ I hope you and the little champ are fine ❤❤ Nice to see you making soap ❤ after a long time ⌛️ it is so nice to watch 🖤🤍 Thank you 😊 for sharing ❤
Please I have important questions. The charcoal you used is the normal charcoal? And if you use it to barth will your body not turn black due to the blackness of the charcoal? Also, what is the need for the corn flour you added? Please I need an answer from anyone
Hello and firstly, thanks for watching and engaging 😊. I use Activated Charcoal, it is not regular charcoal. If used it the right quantity (i.e. 1 teaspoon per pound of oil), it will not run off when you shower and your lather will be clear and not black. It blends into the soap so it leaves no stains at all. I do not add corn flour to my soaps. Do you mean Oat powder? Oat is an optional ingredient added to soap for its soothing and nourishing properties on the skin. Hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you have any more questions.
@CreamySuds You answered very well you are a good teacher but how do I get the activated charcoal? Because I make charcoal from wood. Can I get it from it? Make me understand.
