Hello Grant! I just want to say that this is my 4th attempt at Blender and it's been really good so far. On my 3rd attempt, I used your beginner tutorial with the guy with flashlight and the monster years ago but on my 4th attempt, I learned a lot in just 2 days and you're part of that. Pretty sure I can say the same to others as well, so THANK YOU
Decent tutorial but the automatic weight painting didn't work nearly as cleanly for me as it did here. After watching other tutorials on other channels I was able to figure out how to fix it but I think it highlights what sets guides like Blender Guru's donut video apart. His examples tend to also include the things that can go wrong and he has preemptive solutions. Not sure how common my issue would be but I guess it's something to keep in mind for future tutorials. Overall still useful for learning more about the UI.
Hi Grant, Wanted to first say thanks for all your amazing tutorials including this one. I literally started learning animation recently for characters and this video popped up on my feed😂, impeccable timing. Btw do you know anything about Inverse kinematics and implimenting them in your Rigs?
Lovely video as usual! I learn a lot from your material! I can't find the animation course you talk about in this video. The provided link in the description takes me to the mainpage.
