You forgot the fact that fife and drums and bugle requires something, fife and drum requires you to time the beat to fill up the circle, while bugle requires you to accumulate kills for a damage buff

Additional tips: (with a lot of yapping) Line infantry: If you go in first person while using your bayonet, you can actually move the bayonet up and down. This allows you to headshot zombies with your bayonet. Aka, x3 bayonet damage. Extremely effective for zappers, and it allows you to very quickly clear up hordes if you get good enough with it. Just note that the tip of your bayonet will not actually hit where your crosshair is, it'll instead hit a bit to the right and down(so compensate by aiming a bit to the left and up. Get in game, get in first person with your bayonet, and try meleeing them. you'll see what I mean). In skilled guts and blackpowder servers, the linemen(and the sappers) are the real frontliners, not the seamen(don't neglect bombers, make sure to shoot them). Sapper: 1. NEVER. use your up swing. It is slow and terrible, you already do a bunch of damage. Simply aim your side swing a bit to the left from where the zombies are. This works because when the sapper swings his axe from side to side, the axe starts on top of his right shoulder and ends at his left pocket. The axe is moving downwards as he swings. If you were to aim a little more to the left(about 30°) your swing will still hit all the zombies that you were aiming for, but the axe that hits them will be **higher vertically**. AKA, more axe headshots, and believe me, axe headshots are critical to defending your walls(x5dmg for sappers. 1 taps basically anything, even on very high waves.). 2. Whenever you swing your axe, if you're behind a wall, there's a cooldown before you can swing your axe again. Instead of just spending that short cooldown waiting, quickly swap to your hammer and get a few hits in on your walls. Then, swap by to your axe(or, alternatively, shove them while you wait for the cooldown to end. Or do all three. Just don't do nothing when your axe swing is on cooldown. Do something productive that takes less than 2 seconds.) 3. STAKES ARE TRASH STOP USING THEM. LEARN TO BUILD YOUR WALL WITHOUT GAPS. Seamen: I don't have a lot of tips for seamen, I don't think it's a good class. The skill roof for it is really low. Here's two things I can say for it: 1. For 99% of the cases(or if you're not on wave 60 endless), the nock gun is just the worst option out of the seamen's arsenal. Just go with the blunderbuss. 2. Try to get a height advantage when you're shooting zombies. This will allow you to shoot the zombies' heads, aka giving you x3 damage for every pellet that hits their head. A more challenging way of shooting their heads is if you're close to the zombie horde, while backing up, you can actually jump and aim a bit downwards to shoot their heads. This is hard and I recommend you practice this a lot in a pv server. But yeah, just try to get headshots. Officer: Officer is by FAR the MOST complex class if you get into the game. If you really want to become a pro at GNB, play officer some more. However, I can't do it justice in a youtube comment. Basically, 1. Just shoot bombers and ignitors. If you see at least one of each, ALWAYS SHOOT THE IGNITOR(aim for the head). When he dies, he will drop his lantern. The fire will then ignite the bomber, killing him a second later. If you were to do vice versa, the ignitor will most likely live the bomber explosion. 2. Always keep an eye out for bombers and ignitors. You can frontline if you want, just always double check to see if any bombers/ignitors are coming. If so, shoot them. 3. Learn when to use charge correctly: use charge to save your teammates, or when there are large hordes Surgeon: 1. Heal your teammates. A lot of surgeons just don't heal people(for some reason?). They're probably just braindead, but tbh, I have no idea, I'm not in their head. Just heal people when they get low. 2. Heal priority: Some people are more important than others: heal those first. The order is completely based on the server, and it depends on what class people are playing and how skilled they are. Usually, the class order would be something like Sapper > other surgeon > Officer > Line Infantry > Priest > Fifer > Seamen. That being said, if the seamen has 300 hours, then maybe you should heal him over the 10 hour sapper. Just follow your gut, just heal who you thing the mvps are. Fifer(Musician): There's basically nothing interesting about this class. 1. Choose what instrument to play. If no one in your lobby is using their melee(then first of all, you guys are going to die) but second of all, DONT PLAY THE DRUMS. THE DRUMS IS USELESS IF NO ONE IS MELEEING. Same thing for the fife. However, keep in mind that both the fife and the drum buff players by 20%. **If there are less than 5 people doing whatever you want to buff, don't choose that instrument**. If there are 4 people with guns, going fife will only 4 players by 20%, basically giving your team an extra +80% in firepower. **You can literally play a gun class, and that will basically be an entire other gunman, giving an extra +100% in firepower(Same thing for the drummer in the case of meleeing). In a lot of musician **just isn't worth it.** Look who is doing what, and whether or not it's worth to actually go musician. PS: Ooz isn't playing musician correctly, there's small circle at the bottom-right that has a beat(it's basically a rhythm game). You need to click the circle a single time once it shrinks. Depending on the song you play, there will be different BPMs that you will have to match. This is required to give buffs to nearby players. Sorry for the 5 paragraph essay lol. This game is very complicated, I like it a lot.

Don't forget when charge is active, you are immune to being grabbed, you can also save teammates that are being bitten with charge but I don't think anyone would do that.

5:15 you can stop the reload of the nockgun by clicking. Doing this will stop the reload on the last barrel reloaded

9:25 You didn't even buff their reload, now you have to play the rhythm minigame to keep buffing, as you can see the circle in the bottom right, you have to click along the metronome and as long as the circle has white bar, you'll give buff.

I literally just found this game on roblox in games i might like,its so addicting and the animations are amazing,i didnt really understand it at first but this video cleared up soooooo much

Gotta say this is an amazing begginers guide it shows how to use classes in a way that you yourself can discover what class you like the most or just discovering your own stragatgies to winning as well as this guide doesn't say every little thing for being good and how it doesn't talk about like wave 30 in endless I really thinkthis will help out alot of players.

For Mobile: - Swiping away your finger while holding any button WILL hold its use, including ranged or melee. Useful when you cant do 1&2 finger playstyle. (2 thumbs and index for aiming).

For those who want to know the map he was in while he was explaining the sabre and bayonet, it’s a private server map called test zone and if you want to have fun on the map use command /forcemap test and also u can use command /cmd all to see all command in the game.

I have 63 hrs in guts&blackpowder and I didn’t know that left and right swings are for crowd control and up and down is for individual zombies, probably cuz I main musician and sapper. Edit: I also didn’t know that caltrops slow down zombies

Consistant headshot method (I use exclusivley first person) Take a side swipe, aim up, and put your shoulder towards the zombie. Ex, if you take a leftward swing, put your right shoulder in their face. Alternativley, down jab, aim up. Like the bayonet. For sapper just aim up a lil and you're good. (Also lil tip, the axe up swing has a lingering hitbox.)

Lineman is the best class in charges because of the bayonet The Officer's sabre model is no different than the Infantry Sabre. It doesn't have a bigger hitbox. It doesn't do more damage.

More things about musician:Since you will spent ALOT of time playing the musics during the gameplays, Is very easy for you team know when you get grab by a zombie or a runner since you will insta stop playing the song. Is also cool you focus on help someone that have a slow reload like infantary and sea man. With bugle you should only use him when you team are losing for a crowd of zombies or a entire horde.

I found a really good way to cover your builds as sapper. What you do it’s you spam click your mouse NEVER stop clicking. 2. switch from your hammer and axe to kill zombies and sence your spam clicking you are automatically going to swig your axe.

Your just forgot the priest. Even if it's a secondary class, he can stun zombies except boomers with his crucifix which can be important if you find yourself with a big horde of undead. BUT he has the worst melee weapon (the spike) because it doesn't do much damage and it almost useless against sprinters.

I played musician (drummer) once. And I had a 4-musician band. It was so fire.

I play surgeon over priest because I somehow find it fun. Anyway usually there's too many supplies on the ground most of the time for me to run out of them to heal people. I like to play more like an officer/bugler with surgeon so that's why there's so many supplies as I kill as many zombies as possible. Also bugler is just officer with a slightly worse ability and no pistol. It's basically the same playstyle as officer.

In defense of the nock gun, I can clear 5 zappers with one blast and even more shamblers, also if you're starting to use the nock gun ONLY RELOAD ALL BARRELS IF YOU HAVE TIME FOR IT, otherwise just load 3 for small ish hordes, 5 for larger hordes.

ive played this game for a 100+ hrs and im still learning so much from this video.

Surgeon is my favorite class, i can be helpful in both ways, at the start of a match i usually drop my bandage box in crowds and grab one for myself and then use my saber to collect Supplies.

im not a beginner but I had only played the officer so this helped me understand what other classes are supposed to do

Another comment. Nock gun is good for endless only. Pass wave 17 is when blunderbuss starts to become obselete due to the health scaling with zombies. Multiple blunderbuss can counter that but it's just not worth it to spam blunderbuss and leave out other classes that can fill in something else for the team

Id recommend using officer or line infantry if you get a headshot you can penetrate like 7-10 zombies in one shot using s pistol for the musket 10-12 zombies and if you get it right the bayonet can stab multiple zombies

With the bugle, play it like a gunless officer. Kill zombies, fill up bugle metre, blow the bugle. The bugle increases damage of melee weapons, but it doesn't grant the immunity to grabs, increased speed, and the boost to bayonets of the officer charge. You can fill up your bugle metre more often than charge. It's a fun life.

I first played pretty early in the game's life cycle but literally all I do is shoot zombie, I have no tactics whatsoever. Tbh there isn't much need for strategy if you have a full server.

IMO GNB is one of those games that really just does not need a tutorial or guide, the gameplay is simple and the game isn't hard at all. Some of the tricks shown in the video are very unnecessary like the jumping to hit headshots thing. Just use the sideswings, they can hit headshots fairly reliably unlike jumping in the hopes of hitting something.

Seaman is my go to honestly, and the fact that every single one of my teammates are sappers is literally so convenient to me because i can just hide behind them

If you want to buy the nock, remember that its more like a heavy musket then a blunderbuss. Know what you're buying so your not disapointed

As a sapper you should use your shove more cuz it’s very satisfying too so you feel good

This is perfect i dpnt need it cuz ive played this game when it was only hougoumont anyways this man made the perfect torturial for this game

And to be a better blunderbuss player,always be a frontier barricade defender and help teammates so they can live longer to help you stay alive(btw don’t focus too much on bombers because you will get overruned by zombies

Me who actually spent more than 120 hours in this game and got every single badge, and now find myself here following a tutorial.

Also added tip: disable gun smoke so you can see a crowd of zombies easeir.

I know this video is meant for beginners but it IS possible to beat every objective map without saps. You just need a skilled and coordinated team. If you want to do it with less than 10 people you have to be VERY skilled and coordinated. I've completed all the maps (besides kaub, did it with 8) with 6 people and without saps. You also have to be a bit lucky

Btw as a priest main you have a chance to one shot zombies with the right attack if you aim for the head correctly

Sapper 'main' here (for about a year or so) Sappers' are limited to 10 builds if there's 3 sappers (Objective limit is 30) As a Sapper, the water bucket is an ESSENTIAL as igniters are your WORST enemy as most of the time, your teammates will ignore them and get your builds destroyed and start building all over again. It's also important to MAINTAIN your build whenever you can (unless there's a bomber) as it will keep you and your teammates alive, and try to deconstruct your builds so you won't hit the build limit, now this can be really easy since the devs are allowing sappers to phase through their builds in the next update (why did it took them a lot of time to add it). It's VERY important to space out your builds. (Not much Sappers do this idk why) and for the last part, don't use the caltrops, they're useless as sh now that they no longer deal damage and just... kind of slow zombies down.

On the knock gun, you can pick which barrels you reload

You forgot a gun for the line infantry, the carbine. Its basically when you mix the musket and the pistol. It got no bayonet, a range enough to snipe bombers, the damage is in between a musket and a pistol, and the have reload speed of a pistol.

You can use the spikes from the sappers built to bait in the bomer thinking that they are boming a baracade

as a veteran player this is a very good tutorial for new people :D

Pro tip: sùpport classes like musician, chaplain(preist), surgeon(medic/doctor) are easy to use and make matches easier

here what you should know about sapper building 1. barricade is wall and good at stoping horde of zombies 2. spike slow the zombies down 3. stakes can prevent runner from mauling you when they do the leap animation toward you

you can get consistent 5 kills with musket and carbine if you utilize penetration right (best on endless)

I got totally better tips for all classes. Line infantry: always shoot bomber when there is teamates near it. Seaman: shoot the least amount of zombies instead of the horde so it will be easier to win. Officer: use charge at situation where it will absolutely useless. Fifer:just do music and never save your teamates when they are getting mauled to the death. Sapper: always build barricades close to eachother so bombers wont destroy all of em at once. Surgeon: heal ppl that have over 90% hp left instead of predead one. Hope it helps.

the nockgun is only worth using in hardcore mode since its basically meta there due to most zombies having their health increased big time

You were wrong about officer's saber. It's the same as the regular saber except it comes with the charge ability.

This game, Sonic TD, doors, and survive the killer's are the only reason I play roblox anymore.

You forgot to mention that runners are attracted to fifers drums more than any class mate

Oh btw stakes does a small bit of damage to zombies. But they have much less hp than walls so keep that in mind.( correct me if I am wrong though.)

I guess it’s kind of simple if you see a zombie with red eyes run to your team you see a guy with a barrel use your musket see a zapper run see and igniter ignite it before it does first if your a line infantry stay in the middle you a officer go up front you a blunder bust get up front you musician stay back you a medic stay back and get supplies you a priest charge up everything stay in the middle and if you hear someone say their infected bless them you an engineer stay up front and when your team pauses at a part of the mission built up walls and spread them out
