As creepy as it is, the story was actually pretty heart warming… a father who loved his son no matter what happened and in the end he let him go

Puberty hits us all different I guess.

I love the delivery of "MY SON!!!" It just seems like he KNOWS his son is ready to come out and he's so grateful to see him.

Lots of people see this as gross or terrifying, but not me. As a writer, I see this as a beautiful artistic depiction of unconditional love, a father who went and above and beyond for his son, while his mother presumably left, the father only grew to love his son even more, he studied anthropology, he quit his job, he became one of the most skilled minecraft players of all time, all to protect his son, his son who even when he became a literal monster, he still told him he was beautiful, and sounded like he meant it, and he did… he saw the beauty in him, because for all he had changed, he was still his son, and he still loved him, and that is ALL that mattered…

its amazing to see how much the father cares about his son. he doesn't even feel scared or even slightly disturbed with what his son became.

This really fits the *Dream SMP Lore* while also giving a face reveal.

The ending just demonstrates the impact music can have on a piece like this. Instead of the usual far down the deep end stuff, it's a somewhat wholesome refrain for the father and son. Love it

This manages to be so wonderfully unsettling, without needing to have any death or incredibly dark turn. It just has that looming eeriness from the anticipation, which makes the payoff so unexpected. As expected, it's an absolutely brilliant video.

This honestly could be a story in itself, I found myself forgetting that it was even a parody of dream, it felt genuine. It wasn't a cheap spoof, it felt like it had some actual thought put into it, amazing as always.

The fact that even if his son became far from normal he still loved him the same and treated him like how a loving father would, heck even in the end he still love him even seeing the monstrosity his son became. That dad should be nominated as the #1 dad and that's what the mug is for.
