The fixed point thing is impossible in multiverse theory series like Sonic, simply because every instance of time travel produces another world, so there is no point in time that MUST happen or the time-space continuum will collapse itself because there are so many decisions that spawn other worlds it wouldn't make any sense. Who cares if there is a fixed point on one world? There's hundreds of thousands of worlds that don't have that fixed point because maybe the people or places that the fixed point relies on doesn't exist on those worlds. And because the space-time continuum is still intact, the Sonic series can't have fixed points in time. So um, yeah. It's either fixed point or multiverse, can't have both. And that's why Season 3 of Flash is notoriously bad and convoluted and why the comics NEVER mention a fixed point theory because that's dumb when you have multiverse. Awesome Man! I could really use this! Another alternate timeline/universe issue could also be seen in Dragon Ball Super for reference. Also Crisis City and Bad Stardust Speedway may have already been in the White Void before Generations because they were already nixed with their respective games (destroying Badnik Machines in the past of Little Planet, blowing out Solaris). Maybe with fixed points, the Sol and/or Chaos Emeralds send Nega to Blaze's Dimension even after 2006 because of the space AND time abilities and then send him back after defeat in Rush Adventure and both games could happened as they did (with Emeralds trying to fix things and/or the universe trying fix itself). But hey, what you have here is FANTASTIC! Maybe it can make some people's heads hurt less XD But that's just a theory! Sonic Theory? Time Theory? RU-vid Theory? Aw whatever! Perchance the alternate dimension of Nega’s & Blaze’s origin is the future of the dimension without Iblis. Therefore the events of 06 create & place Sonic into the timeline/dimension of Nega? Alternatively, one could say that be interfering with the past, one cannot with certainty say the future of their origin is the same one of those they interact with. Ergo, they are & can say interchangeably that they are from both the future & another dimension. In the same manner, would one with awareness of such implications find obligation to deceive or disguise the full extents or intents of their actions to limit the effects on the timeline by preventing intentional or unconscious actions made with future knowledge? …Also, does the card staff condense matter into the size & state of cards? (Like pokeballs?)

Ah, ye olde fixed points in time... my ideas of time travel follow the "Stable Time Loops only" principle, i.e. creating ANY temporal paradox besides that of a Stable Time Loop simply will not work. There are two types of these STLs: 1.Your leaving the present is Event B, and you're trying to prevent Event A from happening in the past. However, you are NOT ALLOWED to do that if such would prevent Event B from occurring. Of course, if you cause Event C to REPLACE Event A, and THAT still causes Event B, it all works. Because of this, any good STL in fiction should be able to have Event A able to be worked out, even if it's unimportant. 2. You're traveling into the past to grab something and bring it back to your time. As long as it "suddenly disappearing" won't affect anyone's perception of what happened, this is allowed. This can be done for ANYTHING, be it items, plants, animals, or even sapient beings. HOWEVER, the more observers it has, the more unlikely the target can be removed without notice, and thus the harder it can be to pull off. By this logic, a "fixed point" in time would be an event so significant that no possible STL could change it. As far as I know, this fits in with most descriptions of time travel in fiction.
