I don't think Sonic will really care if he was fictional. In fact, such knowledge would likely result in Sonic responding "If the world isn't real, then that just means I don't have to worry about if I fail! I'll keep on going just as I always have!"

I wonder if Infinite's power is from all the hate that Sonic had over the years and beacaues of Mania and Forces, his hate/power would go down at some point, and remember that "say goodbye" part from Fistbump? that might be an indication that OC the Original Character might sacrifice himself/herself at the end to stop Infinite because he/she might have the power that Infinite has but has it hidden to look like they're normal and uses it at the final battle. Also, Shadow must be a villain because of Infinite and the villains might turn against him at some point

This is late but if infinite does have that power to bring any character to any game by control of the digital world I would love to see a All Out SEGA Spin-off game where all SEGA and third party characters they own come in one game
