Rab invited me and the GoPro down to their Derbyshire headquarters to find out how they create their iconic down gear, how they keep as much of their gear in circulation with their repair and refresh service and why they've got into cycling with their Cinder Gravel range.
Hope you're as interested as I was in the behind the scenes processes and how passionate Rab are about sustainability and minimum waste manufacturing and product support.

When I was a sprog climbing in terrible gear all I ever wanted was a Rab jacket covered in duct tape, hero kit. Freezing to death belaying they were the pinnacle of my dreams. And now I have my own ratty old one, great kit.

As much as I'm looking forward to getting my ancient Neutrino back from repair, it was definitely at it's most iconic when it was 70% gaffer tape 👌🏻

That’s cool I think I’d already noticed they did some mtb gear but didn’t realise how local they are, I have a Rab water proof jacket that seems really good and I did have an Alpine Lowe back pack that I wore out I liked it so much, I like Fox mtb gear but like stuff that’s a bit more low profile without paying Patagonia prices maybe.
