Behind the Scenes in the Texas Children's Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) 

I worked with Lara Shekerdemian at two hospitals in London. She was not only a brilliant doctor but also funny, witty and a terrific friend to have around.

I had a dubnle lung transplant at Texas children's hospital Houston Texas the kangaroo crew came in got me when I was 2 months old from Florida you guys saved my life I love all of you Texas children's hospital I am 10 and doing great I go out to Houston once a year .😀

My brother ended up in the ICU a few years ago because he bumped his head and he couldn’t wake up and I was crying so much that I blamed myself on his injury but he was doing okay thank god

i was in the picu and have always wanted to be a pediatric surgeon, on my last day when i was lucid i was interviewing and intern

I am a bit in shock. Our special needs daughter was in and out of Texas children’s so frequently and was actually on life-support in the icu..... (although it was January 2014). But I recognize those people and it’s so crazy because it’ I was like yesterday and yet it feels like a lifetime ago? Our daughter passed away in August 2014 so it’s just so strange to watch these cameras walk-through rooms that we were at and show the nurses that helped us. I

I am not particularly interested in Peds. But I really want to work in a typical adult ICU. That's my dream job! :-)

i was in the Cardio ICU when I was 10, because I kept coding.

I haven't had really many good experiences in the Picu from the patients side of view so far...

One of my friend dad passed away plus he has gone in the emergency room then ICU room and my friend say he is a baby cause when I touch his dad he cries

I want to work in PICU as an RN

I know that these doctors are wo4kin their hardest and I know how being in a ICU is it is full of pain and you either die or stay strong
