I can completely imagine Swann’s dressing room banter and impressions, while funny to begin with (and in a 2 minute RU-vid clip!), could get quite wearing over a long period in a confined space… depends what kind of character you are, I guess

Swann great soinner but had a big mouth and was cocky. Choose to retire half way through the ashes when they were getting Tonked, what a legend 😂😂😂

Jarrod Kimber is brilliant. He's really held back by the other guy - looking at his phone! How rude!

No idea what it is like these days but, back in the '90's in Melbourne grade cricket and the Victorian Shield team, the higher the standard, the more selfish it got, and the more bullying became prevalent. I have seen one bloke, who went on to play for Australia, preserve his wicket nearing the close of play in a grade match instead of pushing for a first innings victory for his team thus earning a result in the match in the event that next Saturday was washed out. Reports are his captain tore shreds off him after play for batting selfishly. I also have it on good authority that a certain bowler, who played for Australia, when playing for Victoria and had 4 poles to his name would place undue pressure on the captain to be brought back on when they had the opposition nine down because he wanted to get a five-for and thus put his name before the Aussie selectors. It was not as 'nice and friendly' as people think back then... could be different these days as you don't have to be that good to make a living from cricket now.

Lol. The disrespect to ask a question and then stare at the phone and random papers on the lap while the guest answers it.

After having mentioned how success in his role is ambiguous. It certainly isn't staring at your phone while an interviewee is answering your question

Something about Swann I don't like, leaving the touring party when 3-0 down doesn't help, Great spinner but not my cup of tea.

Easy - every parent goes on a dream/wish fulfillment in doing this. They want to feel that maybe their child is special and I think that's probably a societal downfall.

It’s a difficult one. People like Swann can be funny and light hearted when needed but inevitably go too far. If you’re on the receiving end constantly what do you do? Smash him and put your place at risk or bite your tongue and hope it passes. KP chose to go public (partially).

Why is this video edited so poorly? Fair enough interviewers need to check notes or their phone during the interview. Surely edit around that and not highlight it by keeping the shot on them for 2 minutes when harmy is speaking. Baffling and takes away from the content.

Can’t help but blame Swann for some of the KP affair, cool popular kid at school getting others to follow his lead, he was hugely egotistical himself. More annoying person than KP me, yet less high profile, no IPL contract, so much confidence people took against him less and followed his lead… shame really.

@@odetteswann7694 Really! When has he run thru a side like a Warne or Murali or a Harbhajan and won matches for Eng!May I also remind, he threw his towel..mid series, when the going got tough in the Ashes series in Aus. If he wasn’t there..KP would have won matches single handedly..like he has!Bullying your fellow team mates and being a knob the first Oder..are his primary qualities and contribution.
