This was fantastic. I'd love to see one that focuses more on the voice acting side, and one that focuses on the music/ sound design side of anime if you ever make another one of these in the future.

They have done really well for a bunch of “noobs”.

I was really enjoying this entire "Behind the Scenes" but I couldn't help but be so happy at the fact they actually, really, truly went out of their way to try some of the things in the series just to improve their work.

Last clip really shows how the staff is handling this anime, with trial and errors and experiments.... finally a good cruncyroll video

10:53 I am glad he explained his thought process for this scene, because in my eyes, this was one of the most beautiful and impactful scenes of the whole anime, showing how much even basic science improves the lifes of millions, making life 10000% better for many individuals.

This here netflix is how you do an documentary on anime it shows passion and love to the medium and dr stone as a whole.

As an animation student myself anime is the main reason that inspired me!!!!! I really love anime and Dr.Stone is the best anime so far with education and well characters development. I understand creating an animation is hard and takes a lots of works, energy and time. I really respect and salute for you guys! You guys did great!! Sugoii!! Seeing how much work they put in makes me really appreciate the Anime more, this whole behind the scenes actually brought me to tears.

While they made the glass in the episode, I kept thinking "I want to try this." & turns out the anime creators got a chance to. That's literally so cool.

I only have the deepest respect for all the work that goes into making even a single episode of an anime, and I’m actually surprised they even go outta their way to try these sciency things out for themselves as reference. Great work on this doc to Crunchyroll and great work so far on the anime to TMS. 10 billion points to both of you!!!

It was nice to recognize all the software and hardware used in the video: Photoshop, Clip Studio, a tablet from wacom or common things like Windows 10 and VLC (not like older videos about this topic, where we can see people using prehistoric stuff xD ). I have so much respect for Shinya-kun's job. Like, you have the manga pannels as reference, and it's your job to decide how the camera moves, and how much time to spend on which shots to deliver the scene in the best way possible, and how the music should be and stuff like that. It's an incredibly important task, and he did such a great job l at it. Of course I also have much respect for the rest of the team.

I think animators feel even better when they animate characters which really can boost their motivation :D Senku is talking about slow and steady effort and going step by step until we succeed :D Animators going frame by frame feel similar and it's rewarding animating such relatable series for them :D

It's amazing how even as the tools have evolved to simplify or expedite certain elements of the process.........it's STILL just drawing cels and layering them. Incredible.

This is one of the best things i've ever watched!! i often thought about the whole process but never knew the details, those people really work hard! i respect them so much and i'm thankful they work so hard while i just sit on my chair and binge watch anime.

I always appreciate animators for what they do, but actually seeing the BTS of their work adds so much more. I would love to see Crunchyroll make more videos like this again for other Animes in the future.

It's insane how much effort goes into just having Senku brush his hair and look at the camera. This really did a good job breaking everything down, gives me a new appreciation for the team behind this.

Totally love how you guys portray Senku's failures with his experiments. Showing that he is not proficient in every thing and how much he does need the other characters' unique skills to help him achieve his goals. Especially, the satisfaction shown from everyone involved. Looking forward to the next season.

I love watching behind-the-scenes videos that deal with the process of producing an anime, and having the insight of those involved in a project is surely a plus. For this one in particular, we can see how they colorize images from the manga in order to distinguish characters, and how they even have real world references to use later for the animation. Keep the good work!

When I was younger, I made an OC with hair that looks like Senku. Just that the tips weren’t green but were red.
